Last weekend, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 were confirmed to be heading to next gen & pc......this week!

There wasn't any trailers available until today, so check 'em out below. They're $40 each or bundled together for $60 (console only), and from what I've been able to investigate, neither comes with the DLC that were available for the last gen consoles (the 360 "Gold" Version & the MUA2's Character & Sim Mission Pack). That's lame.

Anyways, here's the trailers:

MUA1

MUA2

They're charging waaaaaaaaaay too much. I loved those games back in the day but there's not a chance in hell I'm paying more than 20 a piece for em. Guess I'll wait till they get put on a steam sale.

I can see why they're charging what they're charging for the Final Fantasy 7 remake, it's a ground up remake of the game. This though? And it doesn't even come with the DLC stuff? Nah.

Apparently the first game is lacking DLC but not the second. They're reportedly PORTS, not remasters. One is a PS3 port and the other is a PS2 port. Abso-fucking-lutely ludicrous pricing for what they're offering. I'll wait until the bundle is on sale for $20. :|

If the PC version develops a modding community, I could be inclined to pay that much, though. MUA1 with a graphics update could be a dream come true!

It is better this way
I wish there was a DC version of ultimate alliance. I don't even think a Marvel character would be in my top 5 favorite comic characters. But that's just me I guess. I like marvel, but I feel like WB is missing an opportunity to do an Arkham type brawler with a lot of DC characters put on a team like that.

I do keep seeing in articles that it's supposed to include gameplay and visual enhancements.

"The updated versions are faithful to the original releases, but performance has been improved, as well as some enhancements to the graphics and UI to bring Marvel Ultimate Alliance more in line with the modern era of gaming."

My issue is that the above isn't stated on the PSN Store's page under the description of the games/bundle. Most, if not all remasters have something in its description on the store indicating what's different about it. Namely upscaled HD graphics, improved performance, etc.

I watched the stream and it still looks like its from 2006...I'm not paying $30, I thought it was gonna be like 5 bucks or something.

Yep. It should have been $20 for each or both for $30. Expecting people to pay $60 for a sloppily ported 10 year old game is nothing short of surprising when it comes down to Activision. Bobby Kotick is one of the greediest fuckers ever.
