Oh man, to think I watched that match live. It made me want to pick up Fisticuffs ASAP. That grand finals was so hype.

These were, imo, the hypest finals to date. Fisticuffs was pure hype, nrs killed it.

Let's hope there is another patch before commonwealth that revives Fisticuffs :)

That's another moment where SonicFox kind of struggled. Fisticuffs is hype. I have no clue why NRS neutered him. Did anyone even complain about fighting this variation?

Sonic lost very hard in winners vs DJT, but he showed he could adapt even within the same tournament, and dealt with fisticuffs very well.

Fisticuffs nerf was one of the most excessive and rushed nerfs in mkx, that destroyed his main tool and gave nothing to compensate, leaving the character without any threatening tools or reason to exist. Moreover, his nerf ended up being a double nerf, taking into account the general poke buffs. Since then, he is a pressure character that can't actually pressure. Let's hope next patch will be fisticuffs time to shine again.

@Mr Aquaman if possible, it'd be awesome to have someone pick out matches that should definitely be streamed in pools this year. I remember last year, a lot of key matches didn't make it to the stream, especially early on.

If anything, they can look at the stream chat, as most people were calling out the matchups that everyone was waiting to see :cool:

Yes there is. Across the street from the mall. And it is next to a 7-Eleven. It's called Knight's Inn i believe.

they are also on the event page on facebook and I will be updating the current event on TYM. Knights inn only has 14 rooms but it is the only one within walking distance

A few matches we told players to wait so they could be on stream but they didn't listen or care and played the Match.

Aqua, you should see if you can contact that local and her friend and see if they can do more cosplay pics. It would make a great flyer/cover for the tourney. Hell if it was up to me I would have her and the friend hand out the trophies at the end.
