I can hit it in practice all day, every day. It is in a real online match with input delay that things get tricky. Other characters have more forgiveness in their hit boxes, that's all.

My point is that Leatherface has less forgiving hit areas than Erron Black, which leads to less consistency in actual online matches. Those are the only two characters I use regularly.

Yo I'm sorry then I can't help you because I can hit online (except under big moment of lag) what I do in practice. I can't give tips and all, sorry again!

Can't replicate this on a PS4 gamepad myself. I will keep practicing, but so far it isn't registering the down and back as back for the purposes of bd4.

Soon as I went to just a quick tap of both down and back, however, it works 100% of the time. Nice find!

Ok, even better for the PS4 pad: hit b first, then d3 followed immediately by 4 while still holding d. Don't hit d again. Basically, do bd3, then slide the thumb to 4 in one single motion.

Hits every time without fail.

I can't play on pad at all but even I can do this consistently. Good stuff!

Yea that would be great. if you post your ideas I'll try them and record asap. I'll record some of my own also. My wife and I just had our first baby so I haven't had time to delve into much!

I wonder if it works differently on the Xbox controller. It is impossible to miss on the Ps4 pad. All you do is bd3 and slide to 4. It is as if you are just doing bd4, but you stick the 3 in there before the 4.

If it doesn't work on the Xbox pad that would sad.

Couldn't say about his winning matchups... But he does alright against everyone. Be careful against characters with fast armour to counter your cancels.

But generally Leatherface will outdamage everyone.

Yeah he does have a hard time, but they aren't un-winnable.

I would think Butcher may do better in those matchups because of the armour but I haven't had the chance to play them.

I noticed this as well. Really weird and should be fixed. His fastest mid doesn't connect on neutral ducking opposition. Stupid really.

Another thing that annoys me is spending a second bar (df4 ex) after mb beserker 1, it whiffs and I get punished. I've practiced it a lot and still drop it.

Edit: I mean f4 into ex df4 my bad should have clarified

In general he is good against:
mashers (though that is a player attribute),
jumpers and teleporters (as the most basic move is a cancellable advancing mid, so your position and recoveries become unpredictable)

Things are bad against heavy rushdown

Zoning can be handled
