The Conclusion of MKXL at CEO 2016

8 Players stepped into the ring this weekend at CEO top 8 Finals. Only one of them would come out the ring alive. The top 8 was stacked with some of the strongest players MK has to offer along with first time top 8 placer Semiij. The top 8 was also filled with some the fiercest warriors from Aliens to half Tarkatan Princess's, to Literal gods only the strongest player will be able to pilot their character to victory.

PxP Foxy-Piercing Mileena Vs cR Dragon-Tarkartan Alien

Losers:
Yomi Forever/Blood God Kotal King- Acidic Alien Vs Yomi Slayer-Tarkatan Alien, Shaolin Kung Jin
Mrkn Semiij- Piercing Mileena Vs cR Wound Cowboy- Imposter/Boneshaper Shinnok

Sonicfox Beats Scar 3-2
Sonicfox was down 2 games against Scar Acidic Alien Vs Demo Sonya. But with a Switch to Gunslinger Erron Black Sonic is able to do the Classic and come back 3 games straight

Foxy Beats Dragon 3-0
Although Dragon put up a great fight with Tarkatan Alien it was not enough and foxy was able to make multiple comebacks against him with Mileena.

Slayer Eliminated King 3-2
Slayer Putting in Work against Acidic Alien with Shaolin Kung Jin. Both players went back and forth with each other acid and charkrams left and right but Slayer came out on top.

Semiij Eliminated Cowboy 3-0

Scar Eliminated Slayer 3-1

Semiij Eliminated Dragon 3-2
Big Upset of the tournament. Dragon was up 2-0 with Tarkatan Alien Against Piercing Mileena but Semiij was able to adapt and make a come back with 3 straight games. The Classic.

That Hat Trick Kung Lao and Smoke from Scar just proved to me that he is the hypest player to watch. Man, I could bet he can make even Alien entertaining.

That was a great Top 8. I totally see why Scar lost that initial match with Fox.

Sonic made 4 consecutive mind-reader level calls to grab that initial comeback. It's pretty impossible to not be completely shaken up by that. At that point you're pretty sure you're fighting a member of the X-men.

Scar is hands down the people's champ. Nothing else even comes close to bringing the hype like Hat Trick and Smoke picks in grand finals. Everything else is Snoozin B Anthony in this game lately, but Scar singlehandedly keepin it on life support.

Scar kept it real and original and so did slayer but man your right. It's like you really do need a pocket top 5 or 3 to go far in mkxl.

It's a shame really. There is no such thing has a honest character in this game that can win without some sort of dirt.

Congrats to Fox and those that compeated as well.

Also big shout outs to all the Canadians who made the trip south.

That salt. Sorry bruh, but a lot of players, top players included, aren't feeling the current state of this game. I realized there were more characters than that. It was a bit of an exaggeration. Sorry you couldn't detect that.

I'm going to be honest, I stopped watching during Scar vs Semiij. Both were playing solid, especially Semiij. Then Scar started eating him up with 50/50 after 50/50. All Semiij was doing wrong was not guessing right. I couldn't finish watching.

That said, great tournament to watch and it seemed to run smooth enough from a stream monsters perspective. Congrats once again to the robot alien known as SonicFox.

Nope. People thought the same with KP2 and it made the game worse. KP3 will probably have the same effect if they added one. Which IMO they wont since they made a complete edition of the game.
