Question - Thunder God Can we get a lil love?

So I've been a Raiden main since I started playing MKX shortly after the release and first couple of patches. I love this character, he is so fun to play but I feel like out of the entire cast he is one of two characters that no one plays at tournaments and I never see one online, that other character is kenshi btw. Does anyone think Raiden will get some love in upcoming patches???? It's like he's completely disappeared from the game. Is it because he's not that good or is it true the rest of the cast can do what he can only better and safer??

he pretty much died since f1 is not a mid anymore AND he lost the option selects. i think they should return it to mid now.

Also make F12 around -5. A better mid would really help Raiden imo, he still has all the set play he just needs a slight buff to his neutral.

Doesn't he still have his option select though? Raiden is the same as he was since the beginning, he just has less chip damage, less damage, and his f1 is not a mid anymore. Why isn't Raiden making top 8 anymore?

I think it's necessary to give raiden some buffs but a 6 frame full comboable mid is not acceptable for any character.

He does not have the option select he had day 1 .
the cancel b2-into whatever is not the option select assuming you mean that is the option select ?

I guess you're right, the right term for that would be that he can cancel his b2 into shocker. But isn't that the same thing?

it was nerfed because it was an infinite against takeda and quan. there was nothing they could do in the corner. if you look at one of the earlier tournaments with i think djt or mit they abused a quan to hell

not really the option select made it so b2, shocker would come out on block but only b2 came out on hit. Now its a commitment

You need solid block pressure or unblockables to be S tier and safe 50/50s to be A tier it seems.

Anyway, like marksman Erron, he has above average execution for below average potential.

does he have safe 50/50s?
like is the run cancel after a 50/50 safe?
never looked into him cus i felt he was a worse jax. especially since 21122 got nerfed

Quan and Takeda both got buffs. And there was always the option of making F12 more negative on block. So not only was making it a high not the only option NRS has even made changes that would beat it in it's day 1 state since the F1 patch.

displacer is my secondary and his corner game is still nasty af , 2 wrong guesses and that's the round . I do struggle against friends that low profile me to death so im hoping they give that aspect some love

quan has a 6f d1 now and i dunno about takeda but if he has anything below 10 there shouldnt be a block infinite

It's not that Raiden is bad, it's that most of the cast is just better. Also I disagree with F1 becoming a mid again. B1 is already an 8-frame mid. Sure its hitbox sucks, but so would F1s hitbox looking at the animation.

Yeah Marksman has safe 50/50's lol, both are safe with stamina. Most run cancels don't really seem significant unless they are plus though, way easier and consistent to just SOS 3 and deal with the potential armor.

No, no, no, no, no and no.I'm sorry but there are tons more characters which don't get top 8.

Tourney results do not decide which character is low, mid, high and top tier.

As for the buffs,
I don't think he doesn't need 6 frame mids, since takeda and ferra/torr would be R.I.P against him.And i don't think that anyone including my own mains should have 6 frame mids.All he has now is not as much chip, but still good chip.Not as good damage, but still good damage.He has pretty good tools.Just because he doesn't have safe 50/50s anymore doesn't mean he's "completely dead and RIP and pls buff" tier.

Oh and make b11 not whiff on females and other characters with their dumb-ass hitboxes
