What if all the variations were rolled up into one? Who would be best & Who would you choose?

Speed Bag run cancels would be too much

It would be cool, but what think would be better is having a "Create a variation" mode. Get a character with no specials and choose 4/5/6 (depending on the character) of their moves from the whole list of specials of the character, regular or variation specific.

You may even tie it with a reward sistem, so you have to unlock some of the stronger moves, or unlock slots to have more specials at the sake time. Maybe even get to have every move, but doing it over time.

I dont know, maybe it sounds lame, but I would pay for a mode like this, would love to see what people come up with.

I have it all figured out, it should be like a card game or something. You start with 0 specials, by playing this mode online you get random (specials) from any character of the cast, by winning you get points and experience (the second being character specific). When you get enough experience you level up and get to add a card slot to your character, so thehigher level he is in, the more specials he/she can have. Points would be spent to buy the enhanced normals (IE: outlaw's/piercing's NJ, cryo uppercut etc. ) and variation specific strings.

Am I overthinking this? Have I gone to far? I dont care, I think it would be amazing. Dam, now I want it so much!

If goro had all variations meshed, he would still get wrecked by any single top tier using one varaiation. People talk about how balanced mkx is psshh

Mapping lao with all his variations would be easy. Hat traps db2 df2 dd2 and low version keep the same tempest db1 hat spin the same. Low hat would be db3 ex version would be his mb low hat from mk9.

Kung Lao would be kinda insane (though there still wouldn't be any real necessity to use his hat trick variation, lol). Having two different ex spins, tempest pressure and damage, and low hats would make him ridiculous.

But I think Quan Chi would be the best.

Can you imagine a block pressure where FBRC, EX Shaolin Flame and Switch Stance are used at the same time? Plus EX light ball in light stance, placing red orbs and then coming with Dragon's Fire's flying kick and meter burn it to BK. Yin charge buff on lvl3 with DF and FF combos? Jesus Christ.

Really good footsies accompanied by good counter zoning. Great meter build, exceptional damage; she's be ridiculous.

Though I'm unaware of this 30% chip string you're talking about. Is this in high tech?

I think Sub hands down would be the most insane hands down. However, Scorps should get honorable mention. He still couldn't get up without risking his ass but c'mon--Hellfires Cancels, pressure, punishment and damage with ninjustu space control and inferno's demon shenanigans? That would be at least 3 different restand scenarios, AND he's got the best tele in the game. Ssssssssstahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhp.

Basically, if variations were combined we'd have a bunch of viable characters? Of course damage scaling and some changes to ensure "first one to combo wins" is removed but still, very interesting ... unfortunately for me Mileena would still need to work harder than everyone lol
