I think outlaw is still the better rundown variation, but gunslinger gives better options with the safe on block low in stance, and also the launcher in stance 2. All three of his variations are solid now, with my list Outlaw>Gunslinger>Marksman atm.

Not even. The best way is to have a high rep playing your character. NRS wouldn't dare nerf SonicFox character too hard, Quan Chi gets buffs, Cassie buffed, D'Vorah buffed, but Kano? He was "over buffed" so he had to be "over nerfed" to compensate. Nerf him to oblivion and give him popcorn buffs so now there's no reason to use him competitively, Kano style.
Why would this get nerfed? There are plenty of things in this game that are significantly more powerful than this is. SOS2 is negative on block as well, although it's only -8.
