Damn, Zyphox made top 8? And a Reptile player too? Hory shet. This is gonna be mad hype! Kinda want DJT to win the whole thing, but honestly I wouldn't mind anyone in this top 8 winning.

Bee takin this home for Canada. Not suprised by Milky being there he has always been a great player. Suprised by Zyphox being there, good for you man, and may god have mercy on the souls of TYM users that have to deal with your posts now that you have top 8 at Evo lol.

Did anyone catch the stream chat bitching about @PND_Ketchup popping off on FK JR as "bullying"? That pop off was fucking amazing. I loved it. FK JR didn't seem to care either as he smiled about it. This is EVO and was for a place in Top 8. Pop offs are gonna happen and are welcome! ADD TO THAT HYPE!

He had a top 8 at toryuken for MK9 and was at the first Evo for MK9, he's not new to the offline scene lol,

I owe Honey Bee and Zyphox an apology.

In particular, I was highly impressed by Zyphox's performance. Stating that he "kept his composure" is an understatement. This fool has always been an emotional mess, but just not in the most pivotal match of his fighting game career. He was calm but confident and managed to win with a character many people in the community had written off. He is now the best Liu Kang player in the world and nobody can question him any longer.

We got a good top 8 going.
Though I would have rather seen Honeybee vs F0xy and DJT vs Ketchup due to the mirror.
But all in all, it looks to be a good day!
And as always EVO has it's surprises.
Who would have thought Honeybee and Milky would get to top 8. not to mention Honeybees victory over Sonic.
And of course Ketchup showing us why he was at Fatal 8 to begin with and finally getting a good proper chance to show off his Quan.
I'm super hyped for today's top 8!!

I'm of course rooting for the UK guys, but I wouldn't be salty if Honeybee or Milky took the championship either.

Oh come on, yeah I saw it but honestly, it was all in good fun.
People need to stop being so butthurt over the internet and grow a pair of balls instead of finding everything horrific and bad and offending.
I'm sure off camera they had a laugh about it.
All these guys have probably been hanging out the last week orso.

I've only known Milky from streaming, I knew he is a great player (online at least).
And was not even aware that he was at EVO untill we saw the top 32.
I'm surprised but happy to see some surprises in the top 8.
Sure we got F0xy and Sonic, but everyone knows those guys.
Seeing Honey & Milky made me happy.

I'm loving all of this @Milkman (Milky Situation) out of nowhere talk. The man made top 32 in the first MK9 Evo and has consistently been near the top to ever offline he goes to (even when he can't travel that much out of Rhode Island). Anyways, really happy for you man!

Yeah but he came out of nowhere at EVO.
With no previous big wins or even attendance as far as MKX goes.
We know most of the people in top 8 cause they had set a name and their mark in the MKX scene already.
I think that's what @CrimsonShadow is trying to say.

This top 8 is insane, if you say you expected a fucking Reptile and Zyphox's Liu Kang in top 8 you're a goddamn liar. Also, I owe @funkdoc and the like an apology because with how hard they fucked Marvel, it's obvious EVO just sucks balls entirely.

...yeah, i don't know what the hell you're even referring to. everyone was praising foxy for his performance at 2013 evo despite his injury and i saw nothing but hype for his play this evo. same goes for the condiment bros. the only one who wasn't really hyped up was nivek and that's because he isn't as well known as the others.
