I haven't tested that yet, but I will later.
If it's using 360 drivers I can only assume it runs on pc.
My ps2 controller converter (i use an og ps1 dualshock pad best dpads next to snes and saturn imo) I use for xbox 360 works on my pc when i play all games and emulates an xbox 360 pad. I hope and only assume this is the same for the xbox360/xbone pad phil. once you confirm though I wonder if ps3/ps4 PDP pad will work on pc.

Amazing write-up. I'm definitely buying this one on day one. Thanks for the help, man! I'll be sure to watch your vid when you release it.

EDIT: Any chance you can test Zod's instant air krpyton rifle in Injustice?

As a pad player because I hate the shitty Capcom stick I have now I so want this pad. I just wish it worked on all 4 consoles including pc.
Example pad works on xbox 360, xbone, ps3 , ps4 and pc. That would so make me buy this however the issues with jumping as phil said worries me a bit

The issue isn't really an issue with jumping, it's with user input. Whether we realize it or not, we have to go to neutral before pressing up in order to get the neutral jump. Any movement through the diagonal will result in a jump, and this will happen 100% of the time on ALL pads, not just the MKX pad.

I Got Guiled
Sounds like the perfect pad for me since I prefer 6 face buttons on my fightpads (and play SF too) and don't have a light touch.

Aside from the goddamn missing mic port, that is. Any known workarounds for either system?
For xbox one you either have to use the mic option on the kinect or buy the turtle beach wireless headset that cost like 200 dollars. For ps4 you can use a usb adapter ( http://www.amazon.com/iLuv-iCB758-Audio-Adapter-Headset-Mic/dp/B007PFZEKY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1427367126&sr=8-3&keywords=ps4+mic+usb+adapter )and plug straight into a usb port.

Get on that hook
@9.95 Phil, did you play 3S on this pad using Tekken fingers or regular thumb pad play? I'm initially interested in getting the Hori pad for MKX but since this is 6 face buttons, I could use it for KI more comfortably as well.

EDIT: Gonna rephrase the question: are the buttons big enough that you can use them like a stick?

I used my thumbs....as in, I held it like a normal pad.

The buttons are fairly large though. You should be able to play with it using the buttons like a stick.

So would you have taken 1 point of if it was distinctly heavy, because some players prefer a lighter controller?
This pad is light when compared to a DS3, meaning it's distinctly light.

I think that most people are used to at least the weight of a DS2, or even a 360 pad which is fairly heavy. If it was heavier than that, then yes, I would have taken the same point off.

"I still got it...but not much of it"
I can confirm that the Ps4 version of the Pad works on PC, when you plug it in it shows as "MKX fightpad" and automatically installs the necessary drivers.

Thanks for the review @9.95, I just have one question.
You included a comparison chart which includes the PS/Dual Shock series. Does this include the PS4 pad?

Good stuff man, thanks. I ordered the Xbox version of the pad, so it should work as well.

What OS are you using? Surprised it actually recognized it as, and actually called it, the MKX pad.

I don't own the pad myself, but i left a comment on the "ThoseGamers" channel on yt and they were kind enough to try it out themselves.

So yeah, both versions of the pad work on PC, the Xbox version says it on product description because of Microsoft xD but it's the same thing.

@9.95 how does the d pad compare to the xb1 d pad? This mkx pad looks great, and the buttons seem awesome, but my only concern is that the d pad is all one piece, similar to the xb1 pad, where I am used to the Dualshock 4 separated d pad.

The xb1 dpad is, IMO, unusable for fighters. This is far and away a superior dpad.

Thanks for the review! Does anyone know where to order this from in the UK for the ps4? Only website that seems to be selling it is GAME and they are only offering the Xbox version.
