The mass public sees Barbara Gordon as Batgirl. In the majority of movies, TV, and film she has always been Batgirl. She is also the most iconic. I'd like to see a skin for Cassandra Cain.

Which is why I said I understand why they picked her. It does not surprise me though considering I've had the opinion that the game was pretty much a love letter to the majority of fans who grew up watching these characters in other forms of media besides the actual comics. Oh well, cheers!

Don't think it's necessary, man.

Once Batgirl was confirmed, all the rumors were justified. The last 2 DLCs will be Zod and Scorpion. Can't really even blame NRS. I would imagine WB was up their asses about promoting Man of Steel by adding Zod and trying to get casual MK fans interested by adding who is probably their favorite character.

Lobo was put in because people wanted him (not me), so I would bet NRS only had say over adding him. Batgirl just makes no sense. I don't see the point of adding her at all. If they wanted another Batman character, the following choices would have been better in my opinion:

- Red Hood
- Mr Freeze
- Black Mask
- Scarecrow
- Killer Croc
- Red Robin
- Hush (Shang Tsung-esque?)
- Azrael
- Penguin
- Robin (Damian Wayne)
- Two Face
- Talon (Would have been fucking AWESOME)
- Poison Ivy

At least Freddy was something original in MK. Why do we need two bat characters in Injustice?

The only good thing that can come out of Batgirl is less complaining about Deathstroke. Now the online scrubs can mindlessly spam teleports on the Deathstroke scrubs without ever getting punished.

I think you misunderstand why people 'panic'. Its not about gameplay, its about who she is.

Not sure what her trait is but my guess is that she can switch between the projectile/grapple properties w/ her claw and the tazer properties.

No one hates her because they don't know how amazing batgirl is. We're not ignorant of her.

People hate her because there are 1000 people not from the batman universe who would be better. Female characters who won polls over batgirl... with a landslide.
