I love seeing the Smoke community on blast. You downplaying doofuses. I demand Frothy, Ribbz, HD Smoke and the rest all be forced to apologize and then be banned. I want KT Smith to be brought back to apologize too.

wafflez makes smoke look so good, finally shown what the true potential of smoke is and smoke is top 8 imo because of this. also wafflez is best smoke case closed he beat gross with a real master comeback.
Why is it kalled a "master komeback" when Smoke wins but not when Cyrax does?

because cyrax's resets are braindead easy and smoke's are not. Also Cyrax is a much better character overall than Smoke.
You Smoke players have no shame..

I did Smoke's reset the first try. For Cyrax, it took me some time to get the bomb into dash 1 2 1 after the B2.

Ok. Now go and do smoke's resets off of a b23 starter, a 3d12 starter, a 32 starter (32 IS used and it's a different timing), a 21sb starter, a 214sb starter in the corner, a b23 starter in the corner, and most importantly off of AAs. Do them consistently in a tournament setting. Only 2 smoke players have done that: Wafflez and xsmokex. Gross may be consistent in casuals but not in tournament.

Smoke's reset is reliant on a 2-hit normal, meaning that the opponent is popped up between the 1st and 2nd hits. Gravity scaling makes a GIGANTIC difference in how high that first hit knocks them up to get the target into smoke's reset zone. And do it vs. a human opponent holding block, because they're easier vs CPUs.

I play cyrax, man. His resets are HELLA easy compared to smoke's.

I really don't think so..

Smoke just has different timings for some, I do agree on that but the timing isn't that hard. Definitely not that hard, when you take into account the amount of reward he gets for it.

What I believe is that Cyrax's are harder but you only need to know one. Smoke's are easier but you need to know more.

first of all because I play kung lao, secondly cyrax is just so much cheaper than smoke, smoke wouldnt be that high on the tier list without resets, cyrax would still be top 8 he still has all those net and command grab resets and breaker traps and breaker combos not too mention you should never ever be able to jump in on cyrax in theory.

and wafflez made the combacks with risky teleports and such, cyrax just throws bombs or net too set you up or just runs up to you with d4.

btw props to wafflez' execution he did hella swag combos.

It's only these Smoke idiots that cant get the job done that constantly downplay Smoke.

Massive props to Wafflez showing everyone how the character is meant to be played. Guy just didn't drop anything.

Great job, but whats with the footsie game, d1 d1 d1 smoke bomb on block, d1 d3 d1 on block . I'm confused this happened every game, can someone explain doing more than one d1 to me. I'm confused.

I'm not a Smoke main but I think the whole d1, d3, d1 on block was going unpunished because they were afraid of him canceling into smoke bomb and crushing there attempt to counter poke. It was great play by Wafflez maybe he can explain better.

EDIT: I think I misunderstood your post, lol my bad. You weren't asking why it wasn't being punished you were asking why he was doing more than one d1. That I have no idea lol, I'm sure he (or other Smoke mains) can explain.
