Question Which character(s) do Freddy players pick in Injustice?

I have been semi-retired since Season's Beatings: Ascension last year, so I have not had the opportunity to analyze all the character additions to Injustice. However, I have noticed that the gameplay is significantly faster than the gameplay in Mortal Kombat. It appears as though several characters move like Kung Lao which may present a problem for traditional zoning characters like Freddy and Kenshi. I have also observed a few questionable "coward" special moves such as Aquaman's projectile water shield.

Nonetheless, Green Arrow will perhaps be my first character choice. This fool can apparently shoot arrows in all directions. The poor damage is a concern, though. I hope that he does not end up being a one dimensional character like Noob. Anyway, has anyone else observed any other character(s) with good zoning potential? Do keep in mind that the game will be subject to patches like all new fighting games. So just because something is too good or too bad does not necessarily mean that it will be so for all eternity. Likewise, remember that downloadable content can give birth to great zoning characters (i.e., Kenshi and Freddy).

I was interested in Raven, but seeing catwomen avoid her projectiles gives me a feeling she will have Saibot Syndrome, and I refuse to deal with that again.

I'm gonna see how Lantern, Cyborg, and Green Arrow are and go from there.

Green Lantern and Sinestro are top tier zoners. Raven has ridiculous rushdown with an even better Ermac lift and telekenetic AA

I heard F. Champ is picking up Sinestro because he can dish out insane amounts of full-screen damage. Deathstroke's gameplay reminded me a bit of Kabal, with incredibly strong multi-level zoning mixed with what appeared to be a strong rushdown game, though his gunshots appeared to be pretty punishable from just outside sweep distance.

People who have played Raven keep calling her a heavy rushdown character. From the footage I've seen, she looks a lot like Ermac, but apparently it's her rushdown that makes her so dangerous.

I ll try and combine both of those attributes then, to make her even more dangerous. Thats good to know though, her having a solid rush down game.

It also appears that almost every character in the roster has some sort of zoning/anti-zoning tool at their disposal, so I don't think there will be as big of a disparity between rushdown and zoning as there is in MK.

I hope so. The way the game plays in the beginning is almost entirely irrelevant because of whiners like Death and Wonder Chef. If any zoning character is strong, these two fools will whine on twitter and the forums all day and night.

Well I hope raven is good as well. Since I never got STATIC I went towards raven as a second choice, but I will try all the zoners and see who I like.

If Catwoman or Aquaman are cowards, then the Flash is gonna be one huge prick to deal with. Let's see what Ares has before I see what zoning character interests me the most.

I wouldn't be shocked if Aquaman turned out to be a zoner.

I am assuming they will probably pick someone that has one bad match-up that they can constantly complain about non-stop.
