Here's some corner swag. Nothing new, but still nice to have in 1 video. 90% 1 bar combo included
I was hoping you'd post a video! Love that first combo.

Guys, what midscreen combo are you using to get the easiest / most consistent resets off of a b23 starter? I use b23, 32, 3d12, f4 ex sb. I also have messed with b23, 32, 32 f4 ex sb. I seem to be more consistant midscreen with the reset with the latter but I was wondering what you guys prefer off of b23 (midscreen). Off of 3d12 I found. 3d12, 32, 32, sb, f4 ex sb to be very consistent (wafflez combo). Also what you you think is best off of a naked midscreen sb? I am currently using 32, 3d12 f4 ex sb.

I switched to B23 32 32 F4~ex bomb a while back because I get a waaaaayyy more consistently than B23 32 3d12... The way I do it I make sure I get full dashes in between juggles and hit the F4 belt high. If you do full dashes you are in the perfect position to hit the F4 so you basically just have to execute it right after Smoke recovers from the 2nd 32 juggle. Sometimes I will just hold forward after that 2nd 32 juggle and do the F4 at the first sign of Smoke moving.

Matix218 (sorry I edited) As for 3d12 starter no one will ever get me away from three 3d12's then either standing 2 SB or D4 SB. This is probably my most consistent non-corner reset string. I will still botch the timing every now and then just because of the nature of the reset or being giddy since usually if I land the 3d12 string I pretty much know it is monster damage.

Of naked bomb I do 32 32 most of the time but I think either way can be pretty consistent.

I was noticing the exact same thing with b23 32 32 f4 reset. I think I am going to be switching this to my main b23 bnb. It seems much more consistent. Thanks ribbz. What are you using off of naked sb?

Been thinking about some possible setups for toasty boost combos:

In the corner:

jip, 3d12, njp, 3,2, uppercut, [ddf,2] d1~sb, f4~ex sb.

You can also land another rep of 3,2 in there if you want.

I've been able to get the uppercut in the corner down consistently. A little trick is after hitting the 3,2 you need to slight dash in so that you are positioned 'directly' under their body before you preform the uppercut. It's really easy and very consistent with 1 rep of 3,2 and I can even get it online most of the time. Still no actual toasty boost though lol.

I like it dude! Buffering the toasty is probably just about perfect timing for where you would have to recover in time to land the D1 bomb to continue the combo :]

This is my fav corner combo ATM. If you have full bars, you can reset them to death easily with f4~ex SB ftw.

I was messing around with smoke in practice mode earlier and did some mid screen swag.I've never seen it done before but just in case it has been plz don't jump all over my case because I don't even use smoke.lol.
JIP,3d12,NJP,Phase Forward,d1,smokebomb,3d12,F4.I think it doe's 39%.remember that after you phase forward, you will be face the opposite direction you started in.The d1 timing is a little strict at first by you should get it down in a few attempts.Sometimes I followed with a teleport at the end of the combo to continue something else but it's up to you.

That's actually a great anti-breaker setup! I haven't tested to see how easy it is to perform, but I would hope that the distance of the phase towards is fairly ambigious so the opponent doesn't know what side you will be continuing the combo from. You'll get that d1~sb to link for free, and you can follow up with a naked air throw for some very nice unbreakable damage. Cool idea, I will play with this more to see if I can't find some similar things.

Alright then.I would look into setups and how it works on certain characters but I don't know smoke that well.=(.

I need you to test this out and let me know if it's a reliable setup.
JIP,3d21,NJP,phase forward,d1,smoke bomb, teleport(after you teleport, your opponent will still be falling from the smoke bomb and you can 2,1,or 1,1 or 1,3 phase forward before he hits the ground).I think this would confuse the hell out of your opponent as far as knowing which direction to input.I landed it a few times so it's possible. But like I said.My smoke isn't great so Im not really consistent with him.

Hey I was dicking around with that too! Cool! I could never connect though ao i dropped it.good shit man!
I also did this last night in match, totally off instinct:
Jip,3D12,Njp, wait for them to bounce, teleport, 2,2,d1~sb, f4 exSb.

If its kniwn already my bad I didn't finish reading all of frothy's compendium. Strict timing, ok damage but pretty swanky...I'm really liking that phase towards though, might Lab that tonight. Meter building combos ftw

That is a nice combo and is easier to pull off than mine. The timing is strict as hell at first but I takes some time to get use to doing it.when you land the smoke bomb and teleport, you have to be hitting the buttons of your choice immediately before your opponent hits the ground.Almost as if your doing the piano method.Believe it or not I landed a 3 before and a f4 in another attempt but I had to hit forward really fast after the teleport. But like you said the timing is strict as hell on it.
