PS3 DIRECTV NFL SUNDAY TICKET????

Has anyone bought the PS3 sunday ticket??? It's $300 and I'm thinking about splitting it with some family members. I read that last year it didn't launch so well, so I'm looking for some responses from people that have it now. Can I watch a live game exactly when it starts or will it be delayed? That's my biggest concern.

Ohhhh, okay. I swore I saw a commercial that said Sunday Ticket was included in your DirectTV subscription this year. Doesn't matter cause you don't have DirectTV. ;_;

Its worth the money, but its never worth switching your entire service to Direct TV. :/

I think he kind of answered my question, my biggest concern was if it would be delayed by seconds or hours from the real game, but it seems to be live. I read that last year they messed up pretty bad and it was delayed, but there isn't much info on it.

You don't need directv for this, only a ps3.

Ya, I have DirecTV and had the ticket last year for free. It is really awesome, but I honestly didn't use it as much as I thought I would because the Eagles were actually on regular TV so much. The thing that sucks is that there are 2 packages, one for 199 where you don't get the redzone/gametime channel and a 300 dollar one where you do.

Honestly, I was on the redzone channel 75% of the time so it is really lame they pinch you like that since it is what most people probably want. Two years ago I had AT&T UVERSE and overall it wasn't as good as DirecTV (nothing is tbh), but you could get the Redzone as part of a package for an extra 5 bucks a month and I wish DTV did something like that...but they want to sell it with their entire package.

Long story short, I would see if your cable provider offers the Redzone channel first to save yourself some money. I am not really sure how the service on PS3 compares to DTV, but I can't imagine it being as good as it is going over the net. Are you buying it to watch a specific team?

Yea, I live in NOVA and want to watch the Saints. I already have redzone, maybe you're right about streaming it online, $300 is a lot of money.

Yeah the Saints should be on TV a ton. I really think it is only good if you like the Rams or something like that.
