Yea I dont superman unless f24 connects. Its sort of a gamble. I do use it but I wanted my opponent to jump in. He had been doing it in earlier matches. I was gonna try for some aa practice. I have no clue why I dropped so many combos lol. And I use crossover but not as much because njp hurts. People seem to expect it alot after teleports. Anyways really appreciate all of the advice!!

bwizz strong play man u had that sonya figured out but at the end there u ust made a mistake, coulda supermanned or spaced with back 3 oh well that jump was prob unexpected....

only two pieces of advice i can really think of i could pick some things out but i can tell ur really on point with raiden
1.maybe space a little more with back 3 instead, u jumped a little bit too much maybe but honestly they didnt read it so keep doing it...
2.grab more guaranteed damage with raiden and the psychological effect will enhance ur game

really strong footsies bwizz if a couple things went better u coulda been whippin some of dat ass in top 8

Good vids Bw1zZ. I have officially decided to make Raiden my 2nd character to cover my bad MUs as Sheeva. I can learn combos through your guide but matchup experience is where I am hurting with Raiden. After watching these videos I know how to punish Reptile dash, and Mileena's vanilla teleport to name a couple of things.

you say it as if Sheeva has good matchups lol

I played Sheeva for awhile and Raiden definitely compliments her as an alt matchup wise.

I've been playing Sub-Zero since day 1 of MK9 and decided to play another character to deal with his real bad match ups. This was my Raiden initiation in tournaments. Got me to semi-finals! :) Of course I'm still inexperienced with the character against some match ups. Any good criticism is welcome. One thing I'd like to know is: what's Raiden BnB combo to punish Mileena's telekick and ball?

F24 superman, get more consistent landing the superman after the F24

To punish mileenas blocked roll/tele kick i personally use stand 1 vb dash shocker, 33 vb B3 superman for 30%...I use this variation since it's pretty consistent and the VB builds some meter. Alternatively you can use en lightning after the B3 for wakeup pressure but it can be beaten with wakeup attacks or the second hit can be neutral crouched, so only use it when your opponent doesnt expect it.

Way too many random supermans, try to slow your roll on them a little bit and use them based more on reads rather than a prayer.

Don't burn your meter so much on full screen en lightning.

Work on your overall combo consistency

That's all I can think of for now...maybe try to mix some more throws into your game..and against mileena play a bit more patiently and bait out them tele kicks/rolls, then full aa combo punish.

No problem...also work on keeping your opponents locked in the corner. When you get them in the corner with superman that alone opens up a new dimension of mind/guessing games.

I'm not sure man, hoping to go to EGP Redemption but I don't know if I'll be able to get the time off work at this point.

Great Games Bwizz! Your resets are beautiful, and I saw that you did 2TP before combo ! I like this !
Sonya has a good matchup against our Raiden =(

I don't know if you guys realize this but Raiden's WAKE-UP superman move will go through projectiles like sub-zeros ice ball, sub-zeros ice clone liu kangs fireball, Ermacs fireball, however you have to use it as a wake up attack or it won't work. It also does not work when scorpion throws a spear.
