MK9 Online: Picking A DLC Character

So if you want to use a DLC character online, you need to basically wait until your opponent picks their character FIRST to avoid lagging out. Then go ahead and pick your character. They may think you're counter picking, but that's better than not getting any game at all.

If you both are using DLCs, just make sure you don't pick at the same time.

I know it's been brought up before, but as I was using Rain today it came up quite a bit. Thought I'd bring some attention to it.

I didn't think you did, you're just lucky it's never happened to you. If you have no problems, just keep doing what you're doing and obviously you're in good shape.

Yeah, the main problem is picking characters at the same time/too close together.

That's why I let them pick first, just to make sure there's no way we pick at the same time.

I've never noticed this either when you played Freddy and I picked Jade afterward some weeks ago.

As a matter of fact, I've never had this problem, this is new to me.

Your opponent doesn't have the DLC compatability packs, so you can't use your DLC. Your opponent doesn't deserve to own the game if they can't take the 15 minutes to download all the compatibility packs. (IMO)
