-1- Kabal
How could it be anyone else? Do I really need to even say why he's the clear cut number one?
-2- Kenshi
Armor everything; I really think he's the best character in the game if Kabal isn't in the game.
-3- Sonya Blade
BS Cartwheel, one of the best projectiles in the game and of course D+4~Military Stance; I don't think I need to say anymore.
-4- Freddy Krueger
Full-screen frametraps, some of the best zoning and great 50/50s with high damage; if he had Sektor's hit-box, he just might be higher.
-5- Kung Lao
He's a lot easier to deal with now after several patches but he's still really tough to deal with.
-6- Johnny Cage
Bad match-ups be damned, he's still one of the most annoying characters in the roster. In my opinion, he's like a chip-damage Cyrax except better -- if that makes any sense.
-7- Smoke
Runaway tools up the ass and does a ton of damage (with resets even). On top of all that, he has some of the best pokes in the game.
-8- Jax
Great footsies, great anti-air punishes and incredible corner damage. Jax pretty much has it all going for him; all that with a really great hit-box; he's just lacking something that puts him above the rest, in my opinion.
-9- Kitana
Safe projectiles and underrated rushdown. Maybe this is a product of me playing Rain; but Kitana is a tough fight no matter what it seems.
-10- Skarlet
She could be a lot higher but I've yet to see her played to her fullest potential. For now, I'll slot her here but she could be a lot higher.
-11- Sektor
Low hitbox, a ton of damage and a 6-frame standing jab. I wasn't always a believer; but it's becoming more and more apparent that Sektor deserves more respect as we begin to know more about the game.
-12- Raiden
He's still Raiden and he's still a pain to deal with at high-level play. I used to absolutely despise fighting any Raiden players but if you know the fight; it's never unwinnable.
-13- Liu Kang
Maybe it's just me but I feel like we've been severely underrating Liu Kang for awhile now. What makes him so bad? I feel he could be as high as nine or ten here but I'll slot him here for now.
-14- Shang Tsung
