LOL why is it the low tier characters that get nerfed and not characters like Sonya or Cyrax? i want to see a three bar 20 hit combo by Cyrax get 15% lol
It's not intentional. This all exposed how lazily programmed some of this shit is.

Instead of special modifiers on just EX ground pound, they nerfed an entire collision reaction. Any attack that results in that animation that these particular moves share gets shafted entirely.

It was intentional. That's NRS way of encouraging you to use 3 bars on ruine traps rather than a x-ray :)

Just some bees, please.
Worst thing is that IMO Jax's corner BS isn't nearly as bad as Cyrax's anywhere on the screen BS which is still in. Yay for getting rid of Smoke's unintentional stuff but if you can't fix the rest without buggering up more stuff then just leave it. I find it hard to believe that they can't just reduce Jax's damage, it can only be adjusted by reducing ALL characters' attacks with that hit animation? Wtf? And even if that is the case (which would be very poor for a system designed to make tweaks on the go), surely they'd know how their system works and would realise that this would ruin more combos than the single one they're trying to fix?

Matix218

Get over here!
Have all of the low damage glitches in the vita version been involving stuff ending on x ray? I believe so but I'm not sure.

I WILL EAT THIS GAME
C'mon... like you used his X-Ray when you could kill 2/3 of their life with that meter.
Very valid point, but I still can't understand how they could've passed this game through testing for release without noticing things like this. You'd think for all the problems they've already had with the console version, a little extra thought would've gone into this. Idk. Preaching to the bloody quire, lol...

We are after all talking about the game where Cyrax can outright kill you with 3 bars, NRS decides to keep it, and Sub Zero loses his reset. Consistancy and logic don't seem to really be their gig.
