I agree, I personally think characters with block pressure like cages have the edge in terms of comeback factors, as breaking is the only way to get them off you. However once you break, you're in big trouble when they get in again. Cyrax meterless isn't the scariest but still has to be respected.

I think that sektors bad matches are slighty harder to manage, not saying he has loads. He's capable against all of the cast, but I personally believe Cyrax is also capable against the entire cast. They're quite similar in terms of their strength/weakness ratio.

This is one of the reason cyrax hasn't won a major here, don't matter how hard i've tried, or the other cyrax players, gratz to you mustard for taking one or 2 in Europe, wish you good luck at EVO

Sektor has some solid 4-6's.
Smoke is at least a 4-6, if not 3-7. IMO a must counterpick situation.
Sonya is at least a 4.5-5.5 if not 4-6
A lot of other Sektor players also say Kenshi is a 4-6 (I think it's a 5-5)
Mileena is a 4-6.

ok i will name some 7-3, of course these matches must be played at the highest possible level and the cyrax opponents must know how to fight cyrax and dance on his bombs.

johnny cage might be 7-3 or at least 6.5 to 3.5 cage's favor, now the 6,4 matchups are a lot if u need me to post them let me know, these are matches p lay at home, and at vsm, at the highest possible level, now for opponents who doesnt know cyrax entirely and doesnt know how to avoid bomb traps or build meters on him to avoid high dmg combos cyrax will dominate.
BTW death i don't pick cyrax on your sonya because thats a very bad matchup too, still riu 48 is evolving on this matchup and i dont to beat him with him anymore the way i used to, i'll let you know when this matchup becomes a 7-3 too lol, cyrax has a lot of hole that only the people fighting against him must know to destroy him, high dmg worst enemy is breakers and good defense, not everyoen falls for bombs and net the way they used to and cyrax not being able to do dmg at a distance has to play their opponents game most of the time. gtg talk to you later

The matchup sonya sektor is on sektor's favor sth ask riu48, also there are other ways to approach smoke, ask jr when i did a 10-0 on his smoke back when dash wasnt nerfed, the dash was one of the reason i didnt used sektor that much,but he always was my second char. i have figured different ways to approach some fights, if u depend on projectiles you will lose, just gotta know how to use sektor space control moves, like F2, b1, and flamer to force opponents jump and make mistakes, still i side with you on the smoke one, i will play that match with jr some more and let you know what tools i find to approach that fight i havent fought that one in a long time

Why are people just now figuring out Sektor is good? Why is there so much ignorance playing eklectic every friday I've known this since last year.People are just now getting a efin clue smmfh >.<

Maxter, Freddy vs. Cyrax is definitely not 7:3 in Freddy's favor. Master D. and I have played this match up extensively and we go about even. Most players still do not know how to approach Freddy correctly. I will soon make a video to show the community what I mean. At the highest level of play, Freddy has no 7:3 match ups, with the possible exception of Sheeva.

@osu 16-bit , I have an 11 frame AA (1 or 2) and I make it work. Granted, my reactions have to be much quicker but I got used to it.

One day when I played Sektor I was AA's with standing one too early. I was so used to timing AA's with Reptile that I had to force myself to wait super long to do an Anti air. You have forever to react with a 6 frame jab lol

I wont disagree with you m2dave, maybe you don't know how to approach cyrax and abuse of his holes, or maybe i don't know how to approach freddy correctly, i tried to trade or chase him and he is blowing me up much , crazy dominican is getting nasty with the dude, maybe i'm just a little rusty with the cyborg, haven't been training much with him lately, but i know the match up is at least 6,4 on freddy's favor, freddy is so goddamn good with that long range and f4 strings pressure, lol he's got everything and he might be to 5 material, it is just we don't have that many top player kruegers out there, but one day people will start exploring this char more.

Sektroll was in my Pool at Evo he lost to RuinZ from Vegas who I beat in winners finals of my pool

And yes I absolutely agree I'd trade in my placings at every tourney for a tourney win against CD jr or REO - that's how much I respect those two

But I'll have my chance against them in the coming months - I promise w all my heart REO I won't be free :) <3 and I say that to u guys out of complete respect. You guys are the top 2 and I look forward as competitors and friends for next opportunity we play

Id never put pig on blast this guy is sick and a amazing dude. I even gave him a shoutout and saying hes a top 5 player and would be in the best 5 on team USA. Pig is incredible.

People do not know how to approach Freddy. Trust me. That is why some match ups seem 7:3 in his favor. At the highest level of play, very few gloves should ever be blocked half a screen away or further. People have to learn to crouch-block and release block on reaction when they see Freddy toss a glove and then dash forward. Getting in can still be difficult if the Freddy player knows how to zone at a high level, but reacting to the zoning properly limits Freddy's meter building and chip damage. I will make a video soon demonstrating how all this works.

So far i whole heartedly agree with the sektor talk though. Sektor is a much better character than people give him credit for. Hes quickly becoming my strongest character

MK9 does have some balls when it comes to innovation.
In what other game can characters have full screen frame traps, 60% blockstrings, the ability to link unblockables off of block strings, free moving advancing armor and the ability to do 27% in one second from zoning... No other game does those things and somehow not one of those things are broken... I call that pretty innovative.

Riu thinks Sonya loses to everyone. I underrate my character a ton, but he takes it to a whole new level.

IMO, Sektor's biggest weakness is being lamed out. Smoke is the lame out king. He gains the life advantage and runs away. TU'ing smoke bomb is a unique timing that is different than any other projectile in which you want to itu as soon as you see the projectile. Smoke bomb you have to wait otherwise it will pull you out of the ground.

Sektor doesn't need projetiles, but they help make the opponent come to you; which is exactly what you want as Sektor imo. Smoke doesn't need a reason to come to you and can snag tons of damage from anywhere on the screen.

Let me know once you run a lot of sets with jr. At the moment it's a battle of flamethrowers and b1. (His overhead beats out f2 if they collide lol - he can do it on reaction to your f2 as you move in with it)
