So after going over Sage Leviathan and Death 's top 10 and bottom 10 discussions respectively, I thought "Hey, why not?" :cool:

In all seriousness, I do believe this thread does serves a purpose, who do you believe are the jack of all trades in the game? Nobody to get up in arms over, but can still hold their own?

these are somewhere just outside the top 10 to just outside the bottom 10. Cage is great but is flavour of the month and I do not buy that top 10 stuff. He's too one dimensional. Sektor is outside the top 10 with Mileena, Freddy and maybe Skarlet. The others are simply solid e.g. Sub Zero, Liu Kang, Rain etc.

Also STRYKIE no way in hell is Smoke not top 10.

NKZero - I just can't dig the Smoke hype, I never held him to his damage even back when he could do OTG Smoke Bombs and he has to work harder than most to condition. Granted, Smoke players are a LOT smarter by today's agenda, in retrospect I don't think I've ever seen more awful use of mobility during the V1.0 days.

Speaking of players..

STRYKIE I just think Smoke has the best 50/50 'mix-up' in the game. Low pokes are golden in this game so if Smoke hits a D4 or whatever he can start his offense. Of course that opens up his ridiculously quick B2 overhead which leads to full combo. So people say block high vs Smoke. He'll just D3/D4 and that opens up his offense it is really tough. Add that to the fact that he cannot be zoned, he escapes pressure really easily and he wins many projectile trades just tells me that he isn't only top 10 but also top 5.

Quan Chi- Would be the worst chacter in the game without Rune Trap, HE NEEDS IT.
Ermac- Underrated, dude hits like a tank, decent keep-away, and "interesting" rushdown.

Bottom 10 IMO. I don't think hes very good. No armor. Shitty upclose rushdown game. And his zoning is ok at best. I'm used to fighting kenshi. Fucking kenshi lol. I wish Kenshi zoning was ermacs :(
