Possible chance of Brutalities in MK9?

In the video where Hector Sanchez first displayed MK PS Vita, he said that there would be many new trophies to earn. Any chance of performing a brutality being one of them, I sure think so. As well as a while back Carlos Pesina reported doing motion capture, maybe it was for MK on PS Vita. What do you guys think?

Highly doubt it... besides, I heard there were 5 NRS staff working on the Vita as compared to the REST OF NRS working on something "else".

I don't think so. But MK10 better have'em. They'd be a lot better to watch in tournaments instead of fatalities.

Probably not and I have quite a bit of indifference to them. I'd prefer more content focused on refining the gameplay engine or balance stuff, maybe a survival mode, something that will add more lasting replay value.

Fatals, Brutalities etc. are cool, but they're not the reason to keep playing this game for me, it's the actual gameplay.

I don't think the PS Vita version will showcase Brutalities, although I wonder why they were excluded from all the efforts to go back to the golden age of Mortal Kombat. They would have completed the set.

And why no Robot Smoke, no MK1 Raiden, etc.?!

Still, as long as the gameplay is good, I'm fine without Brutalities.

This. FREDDY KRUGER's in the game, for crying out loud. AND they already had plenty of grey cyborgs in Story Mode.
Couldn't be that hard to map said cyborg to Smoke's moveset.

You know, he doesn't have to be part of the storyline or even have an ending at that. Look at Street Fighter with Evil Ryu and Oni. What-if characters.

On a side note, it's not robot Smoke, dammit. He's a cyborg!

Yea, I wish they brought back alot of the kontent from the MK Trilogy. I'd love to do friendships, brutalities, or even Hara Kimis or whatever there called. Friendships are the biggie I'd like, it'd be cooler than sending a message just saying "GG" and then typing out a whole message. I havo no problem with typing a message, but friendships would be awesome. Brutalities were sweet, nothing better than beating down Raiden till he explodes into oblivion.

I agree though, they already put Kratos and Freddy Krueger in the game, adding any MK character regardless of relevance isn't going to do anything. Not to mention how many holes are in the canon, especially after this game.

I remember Ed Boon mentioning on Twitter that they had a cool brutality system or w/e, but couldn't finish it in time, so I hope it's in MKX.. Not to mention, Brutalities are my favorite finisher.
