Arresting Jade for Blatant Counterpicking

I can't stand counterpickers, but lately it has become a fun challenge to beat them with Robocop.
Jade in MK11 reminds me of Wonder Woman in INJ2. Boring to play as and boring to play against. I imagine most Jade players find parades to be a high form of entertainment.

Most jades play the same way, it doesn’t make it any less annoying though. You have to be patient, once you stop being patient and start getting frustrated you start losing.

Or you could just pick someone with good mobility/teleport lol.

The biggest curse for mk11 is the teleports I have to say. They take the concept of neutral game and throw it out the window, it's the onlky reason why mk games are never to be taken to seriously imo. they are fun as hell, but they are meant to troll players big time lol.

Most Jades play the same way hmmm? Well one of the big arguments people made with this game is the lack of creativity with combos and watching the game at Top level vs casuals is basically exactly the same just way better execution. A clear lack of creativity and the ability to put your signature style on a character. This game was also designed to not have the long combos of MKX. People who enjoy Jade as a character have the unfortunate scenario of playing a character who has been described by NRS as " Not a combo Character". So what is she to use?.....poking .....uppercuts.....throws.....projectiles in one variation......It baffles me when people criticize Jade players for playing her "lame" when she was designed to be played this way.

Perhaps that is the problem. her appropiate gameplay feels very boring and annoying. I know most characters follow a certain flow, but with Jade it just feels accentuated.

My favourite part was the quad d1s at 5:57.
LOL. I am well aware of how scruby that looked, but this guy was always trying to hit me back and I figured I would try to d1 his ass several times. This is also a Jade issue. Jade players are so used to zoning that their game up close is crap. I'm pretty good with pokes because I main Jax and I was forced to learn the poke game, but zoners often lack this skill and I abuse that d1 when they can't challenge it.

No Jade is just crap up close. Yes she can poke you with a down 1 but then what? You can't really compare Jax with Jade fighting up close ...there is no comparison. In theory a zoner shouldn't be a great zoner AND be able to be really good up close. Jade players often abuse down 2 because of its good range and fast start up. It's one of her few good tools so why not use it? Good players just bypass this and start neutral ducking her back 2 , shadow kicks, and uppercuts and she is toast up close. I don't enjoy playing emerald defender personally because spamming projectiles full screen just bores me.....I prefer Jaded but Jade being built as a "zoner" has its short comings in her other variations with no zoning.

That Sikander clip was hilarious but regarding the point about the d2 on wakeup thing against Fujin's jump.. that variation actually can stop that easily but the Fujin player wasn't using his air parries.
