New Player looking for some ultra beginner tutorials

Hello, I'm a new MK player. I played MKx for story mode and now have MK11 Aftermath. I want to do more than just play story mode but finding it hard to learn how to play. There is a lot of youtube stuff about combo strings and what frame data means but there is nothing about how to learn from scratch. Sajam did a series of breakdown videos for MKx that I liked.. they went though the initial strings and moves and then talked about super basic ways to use those strings. Noble Raptor for example does beginner combos, but they are still just long strings to learn. I am just finding it super hard to get started and eveything on youtube seems to be aimed at people that are already good or really good players. Where is the content for noobs?

Have you played the mk11 tutorial? That teaches alot of the basics

You're in luck as there's a lot of info out there, on all characters, at all sorts of levels. So you can check out some of the videos listed above, or places like Kombat Academy, there's also threads in this very forum dedicated to sharing tips and ideas.

But as noted, the in-game tutorial explains a lot about the basics, and gives you a few starters for each character on the roster.

Good luck, hope you have fun :)

The ingame tutorial is really good. Shujiydink has a playlist on youtube that's really good
and Ketchup and Mustards is pretty good too
TrueUnderDawgGaming also has these terrible or terrific videos on his channel where he basically just goes through and tries to explain the movelist for whatever kharacter the video is for.
