How to hit his amp buzzsaw combo?

I haven't played in several months, and I've been leaning towards playing Kabal mostly at the moment. I get pretty good damage off his crushing blows and such, and I'm learning how to space properly.

I just can't hit a combo off B12xxBF3, 4xxBF1amp, FF, D1, FF, 23xxDB4

I'm specifically having trouble connecting the 23 part. Does this still work, or is there a better/easier kombo I should be doing for this?

It still works. You want Kabal to microdash for a moment before you input the d1 after the amp saw. The way that’s always worked for me is to dash forward as close as possible for the d1, then microdash and input 23 as fast as is possible after the d1 FF input. If you find that combo to be too difficult, you could f22 after the amp saw for about 3% less damage.

What Snibbor said. It's all about muscle memory. Once it clicks, you'll find that there's plenty of time to do the dash,d1,dash,23

It helps if you think of it as "DASH, D1-DASH, 23"

If you're interested, I've started uploading some maybe lesser known Kabal kombo's for my friend who's learning Kabal. Have a look if you'd like :)

I faced similar problems like the OP. And couldnt find useful tips.
Of course two times microdash is what i was aware of, but get it down is so ridiculous hard for me.

B12xxBF3, 4xxBF1amp, FF, D1, FF, 23xxDB4 = i couldnt get down, after 3 hours, maybe i got 1-2 lucky hits where 21 connected. I hoped it will "click" in my head, but it doesnt.

B12xxBF3, 4xxBF1amp, FF, D1, FF, F22xxDB4 = get it down everytime but the dmg loss was to high for me.

Maybe my timing is extremly off.

What snibbor said instead of d1 - 23, "f22 after the amp saw for about 3% less damage " iam not sure what he meant.
If using F22 instead of 23, that is a sigificant dmg loss and not 3%. ( If you swap 23 with F22 ).
But maybe i misunderstood that statement.

I found on youtube a guide of a mean-streak kabal and how he is using it:

But at the end they also say "just dash as close as possible".
Within the comments i found a guy who wrote something useful which worked for me with small dmg loss.

It is something like 283 dmg.
B12xxBF3, 4xxBF1amp, FF, 23xxDB4
So i skipped the D1.

What worked for me to get it down consistently is that you "pre"buffer the dash.
So after the 4 ~ BF1amp, i already clicked the dash and just wait until he make a "tiny" movement.
Problem i got sometimes is that a F2 comes out instead of 2.
With that method i nail it consistently with a "minor" dmg loss (~10%? ) but have no fear to drop it.

Maybe this is useful for others who face similar problems.
The 2 microdashes giving me a hard time.

I'd like to add one aspect: monitorlag!

It is way harder, to do these dashes on an average TV-set.

For anyone who has trouble, you can also do starter-bf3-23-db4amp
It does a little less damage but you can‘t get punished if they breakaway between the 23 string like in the optimal bnb because the earlierst they can breakaway is after the whole string. You also don‘t loose your offensive meter if they breakaway

can someone explain me why the "ampbuzz combo" its the bnb for kabal? , i mean, with the spins variation i can dash for the combo and then ampDB2 and i deal more dmg and its more easy to pull off, maybe its the variation?

It's because I main clean cut, so I don't have your DB2. I haven't been playing a lot recently, so I haven't tried out the spins yet
