I almost assumed that as regular throws can't connect on juggles in this game (I miss that from MKX), interactable throws wouldn't either. This might not even be intended but it's a good reason to pick that stage with Sub.

They're more like special command grabs not throws. They can even connect after grounded strings like ex command grabs in MKX.

DoW Subzero can extend his vortex using this interactable for a fully unbreakable vortex with much higher damage than he usually has.

My main is Jax Hunker Down, i am considering learning sub as my second, what do you guys think? Is there any video for combo and tips guide? And which variation is better?

SZ is solid, great character to learn. He’s one of the only characters to have two good variations, so which one you use is preference or matchup dependent.

As far as combo videos or guides, if you can’t find what you’re looking for here on TYM, search youtube or twitter (#MK11_SUB). If you want real time feedback, DM me for a discord invite to the SZ channel (this goes for anyone reading btw).

I think high level tournament footage should be your starting point. Neutral, pressure, practical conversions, punishes, etc. Buffalo/ Daddy is a strong SZ player showcased in plenty of vods.

The "Dress Whites" skin says it's unlocked in the krypt but it's currently unlockable in the long-duration tower. A Sub/Frost combo tower.

Hey people im a sub zero main i play dead of winter but i honestly come here to ask help for the community to fix a huge problem that is actually killing sub game plan, we know that sub doesnt have mid but he actually have 50/50 8 frame jab and a 6 frames D1 that completely balance the character as a whole but im here to show this and i really need to this to reach NRS because this is something ridiculous and shoudnt be happening
and general sub have a 6 frame D1 that is actually the worst poke in the game

You can challenge a lot of these pokes on block with b32, hop attacks, reversal throw or a backdash.

Your post sounds dangerously close to asking for a buff. It’s not, but it is close. If we want to frame the situation as SZ’s poke needing a fix, we should highlight the specific situations where his d1 is low-profiled.

Lol ive been personally slowly getting ready to switch to sub as my main as my doubts for nrs to fix johnny were super high.

Okay, I need serious help with sub oki game our b3 and f2 have some of the worst active frames and its kinda crazy you cant enforce anyway to hold block on wake up. F2 if you arent frame perfect they can wake up buttons every time. b3s active sucks so much so the timing for short delay, long delay is impossible to ever time consistently especially online. i literally now just on knockdown walk back bc our oki is AWFUL, i play any other character and they cant wake up buttons constantly.

yeah this shit is crazy too lol i cant believe people say sub is broke lmao its a joke. the only way to beat all those options is to back dash and punish with b3. which is a HARD read. because if they jump then u get full combo punished
