Seeing double now OP?

Been playing a couple matches with our felllow bi han using the said variation, everything becomes safe with shadow slide, which does a chunky damage for a single special, shadow slide counting 2 for clone KB and slide taking people who tries to punish d4 is awesome. what u guys think about this variation now, and of course, the weak point is low damage midscreen

He was so bad before, that he probably looks much better than he actually is now.
Did they fix his running clone whiffing issues like advancing moves going through it?

Dark Sabbath is still superior, but not by quite as much. Now he's more like Cetrion between her variations in that you CAN make this one work now if you're okay giving up the damage. This is definitely big steps in the right direction.

It still is inferior to Dark Sabbath in alot of ways.

I can justify using him against all characters that can punish b1 1+3 and that is it. He probably does better in those MUs with the slide making his mid safe.

But i fyou think this variation is a "zoning" variation you're dead wrong.

Depends on what yall mean by zoning. Full screen, obviously not. Mid-screen and slight beyond Mid-screen that slide tackle can put in some work. You have to think if the opponent adjusts and crouch blocks that benefits us if we accordingly adjust while they're immobile and crouch blocking in the mid-range.
If only ghost ball were faster

Noob's saibot or noob saibot's?
Seeing double can technically zone but he does it no better than dark sabbath his new slide is wasted in that variation

Can the slide be amp on reaction or do you have to amp on activation. If you can amp late that is a really strong tool then to cover any unsafe slides you do.

Still not sold on his ghost ball move in this variation, still seems like dead weight.

It's amped on reaction which is what makes it a very strong tool for creating hesitation.

Even if the slide is -19 on it's own it becomes a little bit like corpse drop. Once you ex it once or twice, everyone sits there and waits for it to be ex'd.

Scar was streaming last night and he was fighting Toxin's Noob, who was using Seeing Double. Toxin was struggling a lot. So perhaps Dark Sabbath remains better because of the high damage output.

All too easy...

There is only one amp window but it is at the end of the slide distance so you can amp it on reaction to cover them trying to jump it max distance or on block to catch them trying move on their turn like you would amy other delayed mb projectile like quan runes or sinestro fireball. It can also anti air people fullscreen. If someone doesnt think this is an amazing space control tool they are on crack

Noob
DS is still better in most matchups but for now SD seems to do really well against characters that want to zone you out.

His buffs were pretty solid, my favorite one was his D4 lol it became such a godlike button.

He seems to be in a pretty good spot rn but I don’t like his ghost ball at all... it is quite useless against good people.

It is great to see you turn into everything you hate about the forum

Kudos to you good sir.
some of us play the game at a high lvl in tournament, others theorycraft in forums about how bad their char is even tho he got a juggle and does the same dmg as DS in the corner.

DS does more midscreen..... so yeah

Not once have I ever said this character is bad, nor do I need to toot my own placed 17th horn to get my point across.

SD is indeed very strong but it's not OP and cannot be played braindead. I believe that you have to be cunning when playing Noob ,whatever the variation. Personally, I can't tell which variation is the better one. I just know that Noob has now 2 viable variations that are both useful depending on the match up and what playstyle you want to embrace.
....but Ghost Ball is still useless and a big waste of space. IMO, the only thing that could save the move without making it broken would be to add the ability to cancel it.
