Hitbox issue roundup!

OK, so a patch came and still no hitbox fixes. Poor Johnny Cage mains lol
Lets make a long list of all the issues. (Include videos if you can and please list the inputs for the moves/strings to better keep track of the problems)

Jax - s1, 22 (2nd hit), f42 (2nd hit), f4 is -6 on crouch hit

Sub Zero - s1, s2

Sonya - s4

Cassie - s1, s3, f2, f412 (3rd hit), low guns amplified (db1), high guns regular and amplified (bf2)

Baraka B2 whiffing, Skarlet B2 whiffing, Kollector (numerous issues mostly U2 going through a jumping opponent, Baraka D2 not hitting on block and sometimes hit.

It's a 50/50 on the hitboxes.
 
In tandem with the rest of the very necessary hitbox changes, Erron Black’s f32 is mid mid, but acts like mid high as the 2 can be low profile d3 by every member of the cast, damaging EB’s footsies in a way that was not intended. This furthermore results in a nonexistent stagger for EB where f3 and f32 can both be answered in the same manner. NRS should fix the 2 in f32 to act as a true mid and it should not be susceptible to low profile during a block string f32 or on a whiffed f3 where the 2 would otherwise connect.

Moreover, Raiden b31 has a gap, which would typically allow for flawless block u2 or u3 punish. However, a strange interaction exists with Raiden b31 where it cannot actually be u2 or u3 punished after flawless block, but rather is susceptible to full combo punish after flawless block. This makes it such that the defender does not have to spend one offensive and defensive bar to punish b31 after a fb, and gives a windfall allowing the defender to punish for more damage with no meter investment. This should be fixed to allow the b31 to be punished on fb with only u2 or u3.
 
Searing Rage Scorpion's starter, db3 amp, f3, 213+4 is incredibly hard to connect on females, easy as pie on males.

Same goes for Any Variation Scorpion where females are borderline impossible to hit with f34 kb xx db3 amp, dash f3, 11 where the 11 is super hard to connect.
Starter xx db3, f3, 4 xx bf1 has the same problem.

Tested on Skarlet, Jade, Kitana and Sonya.
Johnny seems to behave normally in this case, as I've read people had issues with him too but probably not combo related.

Seems to me like females in this game have their feet further away after juggles due to their smaller profile or something and thus you can't connect some simple combos on them unless you have perfect timing. I'm sure other characters struggle with comboing females, too but I only know Scorpion well so I can't really comment on that.

Liu Kang 12 whiffing after first hit on some characters
Liu Kang B1 Mid acting as high in some situations
Liu Kang f43 can whiff after first hit at a distance and can be full combo punished
Liu Kang f3333 can be punished by blocking high after first hit, blocking low after second hit, and inputing string
Liu Kang 123 fireball in corner doesn't combo against some females

I'm having weird hitbox issues. I have a PS3 hitbox that I use on PC and it makes all my input readings incorrect, like I'll push 1, a 1 will come out, but the input record shows I pressed 4. Fuckin' weird. I don't think these are the hitbox problems you're discussing, but I didn't realize that until this was already typed so I'm committing.

This is a STEAM issue, not the HitBox... go into big picture mode, then options button, controller and untick everything but GENERIC CONTROLLER... it should now work on MK11.

Baraka b2 whiffing on crouching opponents or at times in air when seems it would hit.

Bomb Setups & Ball Rolls(Mileena/Cyrax)
Kotal Kahn Hitbox Issues:

  • s1 and s2 wife after almost everything up close.
  • D1 has so little range you can't counter poke. D3 is about the same but slightly more range.
  • Command Grab has the worst hitbox I've seen In MK11.
  • B2 wiffs at max range.
  • B22 wiffs at max range.
  • F1 wiffs against certain characters.
  • F34 and F4 has no pushback when opponents crouch block.
Jax Briggs:

  • F4 is -6 on hit when opponent is crouching but +4 on hit while standing.
  • F42 has problems connecting.
  • 22 is a high mid but functions as a high high against the entire cast.
Erron Black:

-F32 us a mid mid with a flawless block gap but acts like a mid high and can be poked by lows.

Jade:

- U+2 launcher misses vs almost everyone.


D'Vorah:
- F1 is a 15f high and wiffs vs certain characters at max range. its her only safe starter.
 
ugh, i just realized Johnny Cage's fireballs actually whiff on certain characters while crouch blocking! how are JC players not bitching more about this lol
