I'm going to go ahead and assume the responsibility of maintaining the Shao Kahn combo thread. It's clear that MK11 is not as combo heavy as MKX, so this will probably not be as vast as previous combo threads. Either way, this is the character I'll most likely be starting off with, so I'll be adding my own combos as well as testing combos others post. Full damage info will be provided, as well as damage variances, should Shao Kahn have any sort of damage buff abilities.

(EDIT: 4/24) - THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. I HAVE BEEN TIED UP WITH WORK AND HOPE TO HAVE EVERYTHING COMPILED AND UPDATED OVER THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS. I have added a few combos, and although Shao Kahn is by no means a combo monster, it's still obviously by no means complete.

(EDIT: 4/28) - Added a bunch of new combos including True Kahn only, Krushing Blow and Fatal Blow combos.

But saw something very interesting. I think his Laugh and taunt "YOU SUCK" actually has effects on his opponent. Can somebody confirm this?

Yeah, I heard that the "YOU SUCK" taunt decreases his opponent's damage and his Laugh increases his own damage. Though if someone else can confirm that, that would be great. I read it somewhere on Twitter.

This is what I assumed. I kinda don't even want to know until I get my hands on the game or it's revealed by NRS themselves. I just want to take him into practice and crack a beer (or 12) and just see everything for myself.

Risen emperor midscreen bnb:

b2 xx bf3MB, f21 xx db3: 269 damage
4 xx bf3MB, f21 xx db3: 289 damage - MB db3 for 318 damage
12 xx bf3MB, f21 xx db3: 257 damage

Corner carry:

B2 or f2 xx bf3MB, f21 xx bf3: 230 damage and puts them in the corner with advantage for you.

Corner combo:

B2 xx bf3MB, 1,1,14 db3: ~273 damage, can probably fit another 1 in there but its tight.

That's all for now.

Edit: hisnframes kinda worry me. B2 and 4 are both 13 on startup and 4 is a high. His best punisher is a 9 frame high which leads to similar damage to the 12 starter combo or you can opt for 21 xx db3 ~ 170 SMG, 21 xx dd1 for negligible damage buff which is inconsistent or 21 xx bf1 which puts you at a range advantage.

TrulyAmiracle said his taunts are too long of recovery to setup. I'm sure someone will find an application but his video shows longer than 1sec from the look of it. But it's supposed to reduce opponents damage by 50% and other one increases his damage by 20%

I think he meant in neutral but I am sure based on trailer we can knock down and then taunt.

Yes I meant this in the context of Neutral not combo set ups. We will have to wait and see if the taunts can be applied to combos.

See what his taunts do, please? I'm really wondering if they're gonna be worth it due to their recovery. Hopefully he has setups that allow him to get it out safely/semi-safely.

If not, it's fine. Not every special is or has to be useful.

I just wanna know if one increases your damage output and the other reduces the opponent's damage output and by roughly how much.
