So looks more like a mix of MK characters that could be in the game rather than anyone from Injustice.

At one point of the trailer she puts the opponent in a bubble (Rain), uses tornadoes (Fujin), and chunks rocks (Tremor).

I'll admit that she looks like Poison Ivy and her Fatality looks like a Super, but other than that she seems pretty MK.

She is 100% pure Injustice 2 based off of her 23andMe results but that's not a bad thing at all. She looks dope! Like Poison Ivy, Tremmor and The Swamp Thing all rolled into one. I hope she's fun to use. I'll test her out when the game launches.

I mean, no, it doesn't fit for Jax...but for an Elder God? Why not?

Why are we trying to apply grounded, mortal logic to a being that is supposedly a little beyond said logic?

but that past story is not canon anymore .... what counts now it's the reboot MK story chronology (MK9, MKX and MK11), so, Raiden , despite being powerful as hell, still is an inferior god if compared with the much more powerful and uncanny Elder God types (Khronika, Shinnok and Cetrion). ;)

To be honest, a lot of the game reminds me of Injustice. I'm ok with that because I liked Injustice and a more violent version of it is still pretty cool. What bothers me about Cetrion is that ability wise she is the "triborg" of some of the most requested characters (Rain, Fujin, and Tremor). And she just has waayyyy too much going on. Telekinesis (throwing rocks), controlling nature (both plant, water and earth based), grows giant, sun beam or like energy blast thing. I get that she's an Elder God and should be super powerful but so was Shinnok and he just had necromancer stuff. So I guess my point is her gimmick or power base feels all over the place. MK has always been about characters with elemental powers, but creating one that has all of them feels kinda like a Chameleon or Triborg situation.

This is at least my first take on the character, I love pretty much all MK characters so maybe she'll grow on my once i see more of her.

So, I have to ask, why is it when a new character is introduced and they have powers that are similar to an existing character, people seem to freak out and immediately assume NRS is shitting on the existing character?

I mean, Frost (Ice) is in the game but that didn't de-confirm Subby. And Scorpion (Fire) is in the game, but that didn't de-comfirm Liu Kang.

But someone new has water powers? Rain de-confirmed. Someone has earth powers? Tremor de-confirmed. Wind? Fujin de-confirmed.

Come on. It's possible to have a character with the same elemental or psychic power base and not de-confirm another character, or imply that NRS hates a certain fanbase. It's just baffling.

We don't know, obviously, but I'm assuming that... like Raiden (after mk4, original timeline) Shinnok, and even Shao Kahn (he was a protector god of outworld), for her to fight the other characters she also has to renounce her elder god status. Thus... why can she still do so many cracked out things when Shinnok and the others can't?

Either way, I think she borrows too much from other characters. Like some of the stuff is pretty straight ripped off. Water teleport, water bubble, spiral kick, wind tornado, etc.

Mortal Kombat stable fighting style was martial arts. Even as an elder god at least respect that aspect somehow. Its still awesome tho. Def too much influence off inj

I cant believe there is no ermac ,rain,smoke,reptile,striker or any robots but we got this ..... Or even takeda /kenshi would be better . But no , we got poison ivy 2.0


Now i fear the kollector will be bane 2.0 but with 4 arms and copied moves of bane , goro and someone else
