Preface:

It should be no surprise to everyone that has attended our tournaments over the past couple years that they are constantly growing. With that said it’s becoming increasingly more difficult on ourselves to stick to our time schedule just out of the sheer number of players entering each tournament. Please try to help us out and be on time (especially for the biggest time killer…teams) so we can in exchange provide you a smoother and less chaotic tournament experience.

We all gotta work on blowing this show up.
I know damn near everyone's getting ready for Final Round, but this could be a real good opportunity to make up for all the NEC shenanigans and put on another solid Philly show. (AND this time BigE threw in a KI cabinet? :D yay :D )

Really hope everyone comes out for this. It's gonna be a fuck-ton of fun.

MK9, UMK3, MKII, KI and MKDA are planned. From now on I think we'll try to run the big 3, KI, and a featured alternate MK game. I am working on a plan to better run UMK3 and MKII. I don't know if it'll be possible, but if we can get MK9 done by a reasonable time, we may be able to run UMK3 and MKII up until top 4. I don't expect more than 64 for MK9 at WB, could very well be more, but if that's the case there would be time to at least start the others and continue Sunday. UMK3 and MKII turnouts suffer greatly when they are played on Sundays now because the start time is so late due to top 8 MK9 being streamed on Sundays. By the time we get everything set back up and take sign ups, it's already after 6PM and people start leaving. I would like to run top 4 for UMK3 and MKII so at least we know those players will still be there. We can run KI and MKDA entirely on Sunday. This is all brainstorming, it could very likely be the same plan as usual.

Im sure Bill aka [MENTION=2106]DCIguy[/MENTION] would be up for running MKII or helping out a whole lot im sure, thus making sure it gets ran and ran well. How about it Bill? :)

I have a feeling you meant MKDC... but yes, as always, the big three plus KI and another MK are the standard at this point.

Also, I'm already going to plan for not being able to get a line to stream and just talk to Redrum26 right away about getting the Verizon 4g Aircard for that weekend so that we can stream entirely independently of the hotel's bandwidth.

Word is TTT2 will be back at WB so yea might want to get that worked out asap, even regardless. good stuff.

64 doesnt seem too bad, Shock. Would be a nice turnout for being the middle of winter & 2 weeks from FR15.

Honestly, I want MK9 teams. 3v3 or 5v5

At NEC, Detroit, Morty, and myself were going to team with Josh99 and SonicFox.
It was going to be fucking epic. Five of the most entertaining players on one team...I still hope it happens one day, but it doesn't seem like the five of us will ever be at the same tournament again.

Josh said he's not going to majors anymore.
Sonic will most likely drop off the map (this is a bold prediction that may wind up making me salty in the future, haha)
So that just leaves Detroit, Morty and myself. And I don't even know if they'd want me on their team without the other two. : (
Oh well.

Anyway...
I'm hyped.

Guys, I think we should try to encourage Eric to put us in the main room, instead of giving us our own room.
I don't like having our own room, hiding our game from all the SSF4 players.

Marvel should get their own room. This will encourage more room traffic, and will also more secure the venue fee gets paid by all MK players.

I can still bring my Sega Saturn with MK Trilogy.

We use to be in the main room when we did UMK3 and only had 1 or 2 setups but back then there was only one room at a different hotel, and still stayed when we did UMK3 and MKII. A couple times we were in another side room with other games one day and the big room Sunday or Saturday, but last year at NEC we were in the big room and it was just a pain. We had a lot of setups but not even half of what we have now. There are too many setups in the big room to share it.

Phil, as for MKDA, I meant it. We will push this as the featured game.

I wanted to seek you out and get some matches in - all my pad issues have been solved and ive been doing nothing but leveling up since NEC, so by the time its WB6 time, I plan on being able to do some serious fucking damage :). So i gotta find you. And we gotta duel like Yugi-Oh. and if you like what you see, I'll be glad to help create some ridiculous hype for the streamers at home.

Shame the young kids are out. Its kind of nice to have the un-douchey youth element & see how far the game reaches.
