The Injustice Pro Series Now Has a Stream.me Channel

In an announcement today on Twitter, Mister Aquaman unveiled the new Netherrealm channel on Stream.me. So now, not only can you catch War of the Gods and The Clash over there, you can watch presumably every upcoming Injustice Pro Series event on a platform not polluted by Twitch trolls.

The channel (which you can find here) doesn't have anything up yet, but I would assume those archives will start to fill up this weekend once EVO gets rolling. If you can do so, I would wholeheartedly recommend you watch over there instead of Twitch. This is a pretty cool move by NRS, so it would do some good to show some support and be all "hey, we are into this". And I cannot stress enough how great it will be to watch NRS events and be able to talk about the matches in the chat with no memes, spam or blatant trolling going on. Also, there looks to be some giveaways going on in the chat this Friday during pools, so you can get some stuff you wouldn't on Twitch.

If you missed the stream info, you can check out this link. Just two more days until the biggest FGC event of the year, mark your calendars, fake a sick day from work, and prepare to catch all those great matches and announcements that will be going on.

So Inj 2 will be on the netherrealm stream.me but not on their twitch for Evo? I will definitely watch on stream.me if it is on there!

EDIT: As in it is going to be on Evo5 or whatever stream instead

I will leave my seal on you!
Great news indeed, can't wait for EVO.

It's gonna be on both channels.

Man everything we do gets 0 action on here, what a shame

Good luck
What do you mean Mr. Aquaman? As in TYM doesn’t support the stream.me efforts?

I know I speak for almost everyone when I say that we do appreciate what you and stream.me do for the scene. Don’t get discouraged man. It sort of appears that there’s not a ton of spectator interest in Injustice 2 at the moment. Hopefully there’s good numbers of spectators this weekend. I think a lot of people are kind of waiting on MK11.

Does this announcement mean that EVO pools and semis and Top 8 will be simulcast on the stream.me channel? If so, I’m in because I know it’ll be the community almost exclusively in there in the chat.

No, he's pointing out that whenever we do a Stream.me post, it gets little activity. It can be discouraging to see "200+ people popped open that huge announcement from Stream.me" next to "2000+ people popped open that MU list from King". And yeah, it looks like it will be on Twitch and Stream.me

That’s what I meant, and that’s a shame. Stream.me has contributed a lot to keep the competitive scene thriving.

Great stuff... The only problem with Stream.Me is that it dose not have instant archives. With Evo and other majors being 8 hours long or w/e... it makes a big deal that as soon as the broadcast is running you can watch the archives. So for example if I open twitch and the stream has been going for 3 hours.. i can actually watch form the beginning strait away or if I need to go out for a while I can come back and watch were I left off... With Stream.Me it can take a long time, as in 24 hours for a stream to be available in archives. This is a real problem with that service.

Awesome news. I try and support stream.me when I can. It's got to be difficult trying to pull viewership away from the Twitch format.
