I came in here expecting to see insane downplay. Expected to see that he loses to Starfire and doesn't beat Superman, expected to see that he loses to Harley because zoning bro.

Now that I've seen it, I can honestly say that you're upplaying. Wow.

Hey I said it was debatable haha

I admit this matchup is leaning more towards Batman, but once Scarecrow gets near while Batman doesn't have trait shit starts getting scary.

Also Scarecrow can stall Batman in the zoning war by trading green wall with batarangs and gaining 2 and half bars of meter for every 1 bar that Batman gains

Why all 4 TMNT's are 6-4? And why Sub-Zero is also 6-4? Can you explain please?
Sub Zero can't keep Batman out forever, and while he's keeping Batman away Batman is just charging his trait while taking 0 damage anyway. From full screen Batman can freely chuck batarangs while reacting to all Sub's projectiles and avoiding with double back jump

TMNT I haven't played vs Raph or Donnie alot but everyone says they're bottom 3 so I just assume Batman would win. Against Leo and Mikey, Batman does control the pace of the match and tries to stay away avoiding 50/50's while charging trait

I have Batman at top 10 at worst, assuming all the debatable matchups I put lean towards whichever MU number is better for the other character

But most likely he's top 5, especially if all the matchups I put down as debatable lean towards the MU number better for Batman

I'm very sure that what people say about Donnie and Raph is just downplay, but I can see where you are coming from regarding Batman's general gameplan against any of those characters. 6-4 is not bad at all though.

Dude you’re convinced there’s no such thing as a bad character so it’s really whatever.

I don't think there's such thing as a bad character (or good character), either. IMO strength of a character relies on the player. However, this is not the point of this thread, so ya...
That’s simply not true. Demonstrably false. Player skill is always the most important factor in a set granted, but character viability and matchup is second.

A good player will beat a bad or average player regardless of strength of characters used, no doubt, but take evenly matched players and the player with the better character (or the favorable matchup because sometimes bad characters happen to win matchups against a top tier) is going to win.

I don’t understand how you believe what you believe. You think that game producers just nail it and the whole discussion around relative character strength is bullshit?

Tf is this shit. It's true that a scrub that has no idea what they're doing will lose almost everytime to a good player that knows what they are doing but matchups need to be taken into account ffs. If the strength of a character was dependent on the player, everyone and there mom would not have pocket black adams, starfires. You'd see more character loyalists but injustice is a game that is counterpick heavy. No such thing as a bad character??? Try playing a fucking low tier like Raiden, or Donatello against good players and then try to say that again with a straight face or try winning a matchup where ur at an absurd disadvantage like a 3-7. Almost no one plays Raiden for a reason and it's cuz he fucking sucks and if he didn't then more ppl would use him.

Pretty good chart, we have some differences:

Batman vs:

Grodd: 6-4
Green Lantern: 6-4
Poison Ivy: 5-5
Raiden: 7-3
Robin: 5-5
Donnie and Raphael: 6-4
Mikey and Leo: 5-5

I also think Fate, Starfire and WW are debatable losing mus, but I understand why ppl have them as even.

does DS really lose that hard? i mean i feel like a good DS that effectively uses they're trait and meter would be somewhat annoying for bats. Tho DS really does need some midscreen damage....that and b12 should be more staggerable like it was in the vanilla.

Pretty good mu chart imo, I'd say he beats scarecrow tho. I don't see how the starfire mu is a 5-5 though honestly, I can see the argument for fate, and harley definitely isn't a bad mu, but what makes the starfire mu not as bad?

EDIT: also batman defintely beats grodd imo

I don't think ww is even close to a losing mu personally, I think it leans more in batmans favour. Maybe not a 6-4 but batman definitely controls the match.

The most accurate batman chart done by The batman of The world. I have never felt thar batman beats grodd despite what others say and im sure The number comes from plying fr king jr grodd which is a good player. With only one losing mu batman for sure is top 5 but why not top 1. Who would have less than 1 losing mu or have more winning mu than batman.

Dude, intelligence matters in fighting games, the match between waz and scar in mkx combobreaker when he ducked the grab when smoke was invisible when scar was trying to mix him up. I don't know about that particular match up but I just brought it to tell u if ure an intelligent player, you can win with your character of choice whether the match-up is not in your favour or not. Once u download a person's gameplay, the rest is 'finish him/her'

Beetle versus Batman is very fun, definitely agree on that match up as well as Cheetah slightly losing but definitely still very competitive.
