It’s weird, I agree with the notion that “if you don’t like the game, stop complaining and just don’t play”. At the same time though, complaining is feedback. If no one expresses what they don’t like, it may not change. Not suggesting complaining will make it change (make it change as in future games), but I think the % goes up the more people complain. That’s what I’ve noticed from NRS, could just be a coincidence though.

I say as long as you’re not being overtly toxic, speak your mind.

Wait, you mean constructive criticism can actually be...constructive?!?!

No, you're wrong. Quit being so toxic man, you're ruining our community.

Yo, this is next level sarcasm. Like, both sentences are sarcastic in different ways. Brilliant.

Technically, it is true that "complaning is feedback and if no one express what they don't like it may not change". Except that what 90% of the people of TYM are doing it in constant basis, and they don't give enough positive feeback along the way, and just like @CrimsonShadow said, people use criticism of the game or developer to try to cover their own personal hurdles and stumbling blocks (or just to push their own subjective view of what a fighting game should be), and it has clearly been shown by their post, and when the collective negative is increased more and more, all you're doing is deilver the massge that the game has nothing to offer and then it deilvers the wrong massrge to anyone who would like to try to be a competitive player, especially when you add hyperbole stuff with little to no basis whatsoever like the "games are not built to last" . If people would've give a ton more positive feedback along with the negative one, and also check their stuff of what they are saying, then the negative would've been indeed be constructive, but if you give way too much negative feedback and not enough positive one, and you just let the negative one rock more and more and not doing your research, all of that negative feedback, even if it is the written in the most refined way, becomes toxicity. In fact NRS themselves have noticed, that and as I've said earlier, they didn't do many patches for IJ2 as they did for previous games, because they wanted the community to figure stuff out and lot let the criticism to basically control the flow of the game. And the % does go not just be criticism but on their own accord as well, they imromve with each game as every developer should.

And the same goes to pros if and when they do this, just like with what Sonic did, as it delivers the massge that you don't need skill to use a certain character, Black Adam in this case, and people would follow him because of him being a man of influance, which can deliver the same result. And while it is less done by them and now it is almost nonexisted on their part, once one of them does go that route, it can only harm the scene in the long run. Same goes to what @hayatei said earlier regarding the mechanics of NRS/WB games and Melee, as even though that NRS/WB games are indeed a lot more beginner friendly, this kind of massege delivers that their is no skill for NRS/WB games, especially that this can be easily said in a hyperbole fashion on pretty much every other game in comparison to Melee, in complete contrast to the fact that people still find tech for MKX and even for games like UMK3 up until this day just like people find tech to ST and Melee.

I think people need to BALANCE their own positive feedback with the negative one rather then let too much negative feedback to control the balance of the games and the all other aspects of them, and those of future games as well.

And if any of you think that my amount of posts in this thread contradict these statement, I only posted a lot in this particular because a lot of people tried to counter my points. That's not the same as to give negative feedback with little to no awareness whatsoever.

Take it or leave guys, it's up to you.

There is nothing to take or leave. It's a fucking wasteland here and only the dense people see it otherwise
Lol wut. That's what I was responding to to begin with, it wasn't a spell check

Take it or leave what?

You might just be an idiot
If that is your response then the only dense people here are you.

And God Confirm, we all know that you embraced the toxicity on TYM to the point that you just go by it because you don't care, Crimson even called you out on that. Let me quote you:

I'm not even complaining either, it just how it is here and I stopped caring about not being toxic ages ago, its the way of the road around here. I say things on here on a weekly basis that would leave me banned many times over on the forums for other games I play.
So I can't take your comment now seriously.

So yeah, you both would rather bitch and complain, you left it, all I hope is that others will take it.

My comment was literally just asking you what you meant

Take it seriously or not there was nothing toxic about it, you just decided to spaz out and try play word games instead of answering so as far as I can tell you don't actually know what you were saying either lol

"we all know" yeah you don't get to start sentences like this lol. As if you speak for anyone other than yourself, youve got to be the most disliked poster on the site I can't remember seeing anyone agree with you on anything ever

Considering he's either directly called or implied that everybody in this thread is stupid, one way or another he definitely suffers from the Dunning-Kruger effect.
Don't put words in my mouth or head, I never said I'm smarter then anyone or that every single one who posted here is stupid. That's just hyperbole bullshit.

But hey, you're probably gonna twist that to make yourself look good at my expense.

You know, when you're dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's hard, only for the others. Its the same when you're stupid.

Just a thought that crossed my mind somehow while going through those messages here.
I know this, you just hiding behind the wall of toxic people that argued with me and tryto get me to restart this argument. Not gonna work dude. When you're smart, you know you're smart. This will be my last comment to you.
