The Fantasy is the Reality of the Mind
This one is a random title, which I couldn't think of a good title right now. This thread is all about helping each other to fix each's problem that he/she have discovered and might haven't thought of fixing.

Here's my problem. Thanks to Dragonball I found out why I'm playing like shit here, and I need your wisdom of fixing my problem (and anyone else's).

Mine problem is that maybe I have very good reactions, but I keep doing the wrong decisions, and I get punished. This is something I found out when I played with my mentors and ShArp, and I'd like to hear your wisdom (and, please, no trolling here) regarding to this.

Right now, once they fix the online part I'll work more with my defense and less with the offense. This is something I need to work out, like I need to trade the offense and the defense in real matches.

What I'm thinking is, if you're making the wrong decision then it's not an actual reaction it's a read. So maybe sometimes when you think you're reacting, but reacting with the wrong thing. You're actually making a read and might be getting confused with the two.

If you're actually reacting to something you should be able to get it every time, with a margin of error because we're humans of course, so you shouldn't be "reacting with the wrong thing", otherwise that's not a reaction.

Hopefully that made sense, that felt more difficult to explain than it should have lol

If I did read it correctly, you think that my reads are bad? If so, then I get the picture here. That's my problem. I have a problem with the reads. In that case, what kind of remedy/training is there to fix that?

Thanks.

Maybe, it'd help if we could see game play of yours. I'm not sure what you can do to improve your reads really except for playing more and learning the MUs the best you can.

Every player plays differently so you might be great at reading one person but terrible at reading another. Knowing your opponents best options from every situation should help though, as they're more likely to use their best option.

Sounds like I'll be in for a long set of MU XP. What you said reminds me a bit of chess, so I'll have to consider and find the best options and try to prevent them. Once they drop this March's patch I'll be in for a overnight training.

Yeah exactly, as soon as you start to counter their best/most used option thats when they'll start branching out to their other options, and that's where the actual metagame and the reads begin.
