CG Artist Damon Woods has put his talents to use in making this epic Jax render you are seeing above. Having done work for CW's The Flash, the VR title Raw Data and a whole bunch of other things, he seems to be setting his sights on making awesome Mortal Kombat renders in-between the other work he has going on. Check out his other models over at ArtStation where you can see the amazing renders he has made over the years. And while you are at it, give him a follow on Twitter where you can stay up to date with the new stuff he has coming out.

In the meantime, you can see the early stages of his Jax model down below. The detail on this is crazy!

I will leave my seal on you!
DAMN this one looks great, I don't like the metal nipples though, everything else however is just sick.

Doesn't really reflect Jax as a character or his personality.

Jax is a military guy (former top general), which reflects in his style first and foremost, but also a leading scientist/engineer who single-handedly developed the robotics technology that allowed for Kano's eye or his own robotic arms in his spare time, making him quite possibly the most intelligent person on the planet, while also possibly being the strongest before he developed his metal arm, which put him over the top.

This guy looks like Jax if he had a mid-life crisis and pierced his own nipples with his signature robotics technology because he thought it looked edgy.

Not saying I have any inside knowledge (I sincerely don't) but I thought it was interesting that this guy made this model like, a year ago (according to his Art Station) but he reshared it on his not that active Twitter a few days ago. Wonder if there's anything to that, or if he just felt like sharing it
