After one of the most intense tournaments for Injustice 2 so far, 2 men stood victorious.

A F0xy Grampa and Forever King secured the last two spots for E-League and will be competing for their cut of life-changing prize money. They will both be playing this Friday, the 27th of October, for the opening of E-League.

You can find more info on E-League here

You can see the bracket for how the Last Chance Qualifier played out below:

It's all so very confusing.
Really good to see these two. I'm a big Whiteboi fan, Rewind too.. but it seems like King is everywhere, putting HUGE work in to making tournaments and grinding the pro circuit... And F0xy.. i mean, he doesn't even live on this CONTINENT and is still at a huge number of tournaments.. both these guys are repping the game and both build the scene at large and are great faces for our scene.. I'm leaning towards King winning in the end, but honestly I'm happy either way and they both absolutely deserve the spot... And only reason I'm leaning towards King is cause I find Batman a lot more fun to watch than Deadshot, ha.

Great showing guys and congrats. Can't wait to see how it all plays out.

*Provides updates for almost every match of LCQ by himself, posts up thread with top 8 as soon as it's set, posts an article announcing the 2 qualifiers as soon as the tournament ends*

Then gets told "you should do more".

Cool
I was joking don't take it seriously which is why I did the I believe in you all in caps you did a great job

Jynks

some heroes are born, some made, some wondrous
King said if he lost it would be his last event.. dose that mean he is retiring after e-league?

Are you not entertained!?
The commentators that don't know shit about the game and trying to sound smart are annoying af. Great tournament though.

I kinda liked the commentary. I dont mean to throw shade, but I'm not a huge fan of a lot of our commentators. Not all, I like several, Love KP though. I'm sorry but I love Zhi's commentary because its so.. I dunno the right word, its not stupid - he's not stupid - its just.. Inane? Maybe that's the right word. Shrug. It would have been a lot more respectful to the community to have more of our guys there though.,

I thought Tasty Steve did an excellent job. Entertaining, energetic wihout being ridiculos/over the top. He was a perfect pick, and was one of best assets behind the desk all day.

Rip is amicable and puts maximum effort in. Sajam is solid and safe as always, and UD/KP know their stuff and could do this in their sleep.

The only question mark was Zhi, because he didn't seem to know what was going on (seems like he didn't study or play the game much to prepare). But everyone else was fine to great and really professional.

And the matches and camera work were great -- so this says good things about ELEAGUE in the month ahead.

I'd say I enjoyed about 30% of the commentary. KP, UD and Sajam were great, too bad they didn't stay for more.

I wonder if Rewind was dropping his combos due to not being completely adjusted to offline play? I know he's been playing a ton online for a long time.. And I remember when it happened to Madzin when he came to the States for the first time for MLG.

He was playing really well the whole day, and execution really ended up costing him in the long run.

Pretty sure that was nerves. SUCH a huge occasion, you could even see a vet like Forever King showing some signs of nerves. I imagine it was 100 times worse for Rewind. His Flash was super strong though

I will leave my seal on you!
Huge kudos to both F0xy and Forever King for making it to the E-League! Lots of great plays from everyone.

Oakiess shocked the house with his Gorilla Grodd, just goes to show that you can't sleep on any character, because then you might lost just because you don't know the MU! Hope to see him in more tournies in the future!

The commentaries did a great job as well! Would like to see them in more IJ2 events as well as for MK11!

A great day in the history of our community is coming this Friday! Can't wait!
