How are you all dealing with Black Adam? I'm finding him still pretty dominant from just about every range, though I still suck pretty hard with Manta.

Can Manta punish Black Magic or From the Deep with teleport? That could help with the full screen game at least.

Black manta seems to be really good against flash, he outneutrals him, can anti air him, and flash has no safe answers to manta f2 mind game.

Black Magic can be punished but not From The Deep. However, if you ever played Zod versus Aquaman in Injustice 1, Shark Attack punishes From The Deep from similar ranges that Zod Charge did. I have not experimented with instant aerial Shark Attack yet, though.

personally having a hard time with ww. the range she controls and her air presence seem hard to me, f2 outranges her but thats it. idk.

Punish shield with f2? I don't use manta but hate ww so trying to help
Remember that when WW throws shield put its -30 on block so around mid screen you should be able to punish with shark attack or f2. And air shields can be punished too depending on the height it's done at. Regardless it means it's your turn at that point. WW matchup requires a lot of patience and being smart with your spacing which is where Manta shines the most

Edit: air shields can be plus if done around the lowest possible height or from a jailed j3 but typically WW might check with lasso which then means its your turn in that instance.

Some helpful things against Adam. If you jump over Low Lightning or MB Low Lightning on reaction, you can punish with Air Shark Attack at about 3/4 screen. Also if you want to have success whiff punishing Adam's F12, you'll have to use b1 then go for an air conversion cuz he's considered airborne smh.

In stent aerial is around 10 frames. I don't know FTD frames to give a precise answer.

I think it's very early to tell but if I had to guess and from what I've played, superman will be aids
What makes you think that?

I've not played the MU but from my personal theory fighting I think he'll be able to compete, maybe a 5-5.

Manta actually outranges Supes F2 so footsies shouldn't be an issue which is Supes main strength aside from his damage and corner game. Depending on how Mantas set play develops I think it'll be a heavily footsies based MU with a lot of midscreen play.

Superman f23 pressure is really good vs Manta, and Superman does more damage off every hit. At the very least, it is unlikely Manta wins.

I've played a numerous amount of Superman players. The better players obviously were harder. But winnable. Especially if you can react to his jumps.
Stay out of his f23 range but close enough to react in case he does footsie it out. You've got 3 buttons to stuff his f23 from mid off reactions.
Mantas float also bought me a good amount of leeway against Supermans lasers.
The air harpoon is pretty useful if you see a Superman firing lasers and you jump one.
This was one of the few times I've been comfortable against Superman.
Unless you're cornered. Do avoid that.

Another thing to note is that Superman can't really Air Laser too much since Manta can jump them and punish with Shark Attack on reaction. So that combined with threat of Teleport means Superman can't zone him out all day. He has to go in.

I would definitely use Manta in this MU over GL. I don't see how this can be considered a losing MU for Manta already.

Casual Josh here but I'm having trouble against him with GL at the moment. I can punish MB teleport fairly consistently with D2 as long as the connection is good, lol. But the neutral is where I'm struggling. I don't really care for MU numbers but I agree with you that this seems in Manta's favor so far.

So if you block f23 breath and think he's going to f23 again, why don't you interrupt with B1? That should work. He could shimmy and whiff punish but that's the read.
