The REAL Justice League

While playing games, like Injustice 2, and going to see all the related superhero movies, it can often be easy to forget about the real heroes in life. There are people who face hardships and difficulties that many of us couldn't even imagine battling against. However, these heroes have been brought to life in a wonderful way by photographer Josh Rossi.

Josh and his team set out to photograph the REAL justice league:

"Many want to be super heroes in real life. We want to be Superman and fly, have incredible strength like Wonder Woman and super speed like The Flash. Some people though already have these superpowers. I set out a few months ago to find the REAL Justice League and photograph them. The kids that my team and I chose have been through hell and back and have real superhuman strength!"

Josh, his wife Roxanna and costume designer Julie Whiteley worked together on this beautiful mission to create an epic photoshoot for children suffering from debilitating diseases and disabilities.

I encourage you to read the original article, which covers the children's stories and watch the children's reactions, as they're presented with the posters of themselves as members of the justice league, here. Be warned though, it is an emotional read.

And below, is the real Justice League.
