The problem with ending combos with stomp is that it does not provide the most knock down advantage. The palm strike does and guarantees trait activation against all characters, including extremely fast super moves like Superman's.
Maybe stomp enders will be best for when trait is on cooldown, otherwise go to an advantage ender for trait setup.

In the corner, I'm getting some decent damage (323 vs Scarecrow) off of explodey trait by putting him out, throwing, he explodes, f3, j3~df3

In the corner I prefer doing F3, 22, 11 xx DF2 even tho I don't have trait anymore because that hit advantage in the corner gives you a good amount of room to play with to apply offense.

Whoa, just hit 533 with overhead trait. I did the trait combo, but was able to get the Overhead trait to work. You have to press trait and teleport at the exact same time, otherwise the trait will come out on the wrong side and whiff. You also have to time j3~df3 or the opponent will be knocked too far away.
how does the overhead trait combo work? plz explain :(, trying to get used to better using DS's trait.

Basically how I've been timing it (I assume we're talking about the hard to blockable off of trait) I do the input for instant air stomp when the minion reappears. The very start of those frames is when I do the stomp.

Overall, the standard trait still seems to be more consistent. The overhead trait will sometimes whiff and sometimes knock them too far away. However, both combos are done the same way:

I've got trait mapped to R2, so I call trait and then jump. When I jump, I press down-back-r2+3. This causes me to teleport at the same time as the trait shoots its fireball. You then just do the standard j3~mb.df3-b3-j3~df3 combo.

So the trait will usually hit just as you cross them up, making it hard to block. It leaves you +62 if they do block it, though. But they have to reverse their input and then block overhead-low, all while they can't even see their own character through the mess of fireball, boots, and omega energy. If they don't match your timing exactly, they get hit and eat roughly %50 damage while you get about 50% of your trait back. Zone for 2 or 3 seconds and then repeat.

Even ex palm combo ender does not provide free trait activation vs Supes super?

If not, we should probably finish our combos with s3xxtrait.

He said it does allow it.

Just tested it. Works just fine. You have more than enough time to block his wakeup super.

One bar cross-up for 477 damage:

Cross-up with j3 > MB b1u3 > b3 > j3~df3

The timing is really strict after the cross-up, so you will need to practice it.
