seems intentional...
It probably IS intentional. That's my first thought, at least.

How do you balance a full screen God? Their answer to that might have been "nerf his frames up close". If he has a lot of gaps in his strings, he'll be at a disadvantage when close to the opponent and yeah, that could certainly be by design.

It's not like every other character has an Omega Beam super that they can control.

Yeah, and? What's your point with bringing up his super? It doesn't make or break the character. Supers, in most cases, are entirely situational and barely used (competitively speaking).

But how is he a full screen god? Not saying you're wrong, but I haven't been able to play much or look up info for him. I'd just like to know what his game plan consists of from full screen.

Good points. I'm just talking about my initial impressions of the character. I could be very wrong, but again, I believe the gaps are intentional. Time will tell, I guess.

Weird that they'd let his best strings (f23 and b1u3) have no gaps. Sad about 22 and 21, but oh well.

What do you think it is if not -14?
from what I tested its at least -4 , but not so bad as to be -10 , I tested this by setting the CPU to reversal throw and alwasy block and reveral set to random (since 22 doesnt jail they will try to mash reversal between the string and get hit if you dont) . On 22 blocked if you hit d1 the throw beats you out. but if on blocked 22 you hit up you can just before the throw connects . idk the prejump frames but if it was actually -14 we would be getting thrown.

He's not a full screen god, or even close to it. He's rushdown in your face with his teleport/trait mixes.

He isnt even a rushdown character because he only has 1 decent mid, and very few strong strings. he feels like an upper mid tier character. Most of his tools are decent and he gets good damage, but his strings aren't very good and i think he is going to rely too much on his trait.

Teleport seems really unsafe as a consistent tactic.
