As we all know the opponents can use any amour moves to get out of fireball cancel block strings, I'm practicing Fireball cancel and I dont know whether I do it right, jail the opponent or not. Anyone knows how to test it in the training room?

Pick reptile ad opponent in training room..Just set ai to block always and set the counter Attack to ex slide....

This one should help you out. This RC is the easiest in the MKX game. This guy is my 3rd main for teleportation stuff. TG Raiden has the hardest as fuck RC.

Try doing this combo:

21xxFireball, then hold the 1, and then immediately do the RC (meaning the RUN input instead of the Dash cancel in the move list).

Practice this combo making it more faster as you're practicing all the inputs in one string.

edit: set the opponent AI to autoblock. This will help you out of knowing if you're doing it right or not. If he blocks, then that means that you're doing it wrong.

Good luck.

Actually as i mentioned above the opponent can use the amour move to interrupt, that's the only option and that the reason why I dont know how to test my FB Run cancel jails or not?

A jail wouldn't allow them to start the armored move (they need to keep blocking because you hit on the positive advantage frames of the previous move) so basically if the move comes out, it wasn't a jail, if they keep blocking, it was a jail.

If you're talking about a frame trap (the opponent gets to press buttons but you'll stuff anything they use that doesn't have armor) then if you hear the "ding!" from Reptile's armor, it means you would've hit an opponent pressing buttons as that's the fastest thing they would throw at you.
