Flame fist does body most of the cast. Similar to demo sonya, he has tech that has not been found that changes several "bad" matchups into his favor
Even so, that still doesnt mean its S tier worthy, as S tier in my book means broken to the point its unfair...like Mystic and Demo.

You've been taunting about the hidden FF tech for a good while now, why would you hide something if you believe its brokenly good?

So that non jailing fireball only works on mileena? This is all ollllld stuff that most people know already, its not "broken" its just stupid hitbox issues. Also, that jax issue has been in the game from day one and jax gets bodied by flame fist because of it.

Basically 2 years and people still cant fight ff, i think df is better because hes real safe but eh. I remember telling paulo some of these issues with liu in the online beta and he said "is that a character problem or a you problem". I knew then that shit wouldnt get fixed.
I said this was all old stuff its just some people need to be shown/reminded that this stuff is here. I never really considered the option to not take the mixup for jax, liu and erron black as something negative for them but then again the mixup is so bad I can see why some may think that.

Philosophy difference i suppose. Im not taunting, i genuinely want people to go in the lab and explore. More like prodding the coals. Im a mechanics type of player, the lab monster.

Im also old school (40 years old) and my era of high level arcade competitive gaming was vastly different than it is now. You never shared tech. Me posting is just my way of starting a conversation on mechanics and theory

I hate when people complain about character specific combos/blockstrings and having to do different combos on crouchers. It's part of almost every fighting game out there but for some reason we think it's a bug here at tym.

You seriously have no idea what you are talking about here. This isnt a block string, these are options in a mixup that are completely taken out by certain characters. There is no adjusting with these, it eliminates a huge part of the characters game.

Yes, I know, you take great pride in it, and rightfully so. True, I never shared tech once, the things I find is basicly simple and quite obvious that everybody finds, but I'm not a lab monster, unlike you. So why not share it and show us how FF is in fact S tier because I can't see it.

I wasn't talking about this particular case just in general and yes in a lot of these cases he's losing an option in a matchup which happens in oh I dunno 100% of fighting games.

Theres a difference between an option and all the options buddy. This is literally the entire varation specific pressure and its useless if the player know all this and uses a character that it will work against.
