yes, it reverses their inputs

if you wake up with any button, no matter what it is, say for example you wanted to wake it with DF2 but instead got DB2, which comes out as B2, chances are you are getting whiff punished due to the oki, also, the hitbox on your move will be coming out in the opposite direction to the player

this is all for good reversal tech set-ups, i dont know how well this one works cause i havent labbed it



213 ender into run cancel neutral jump reverses inputs, and its awesome because its ambigous, if you input it a few frames slow it doesn't reverse, so it 50/50's the reversal


its not universal tech, complete trash against someone like Sektor of course, but hey its good stuff
I'm not saying it's completely useless, id imagine it to be useful against a character or two if labbed properly. Otherwise though, I just don't get why you'd ever use any wakeup reversal when you can bait the wakeup and just block or armor break and most likely get more damage AND get the opponent off a bar of meter.

Like, against Tempest it would be good because he'd end up waking up with an unarmoured ExHatSpin instead of ExSpin which will still get them off a bar of meter and get you damage.

But against someone like Cage for example, instead of getting ExNutPunch he's just gonna get up and do nothing. Yeah you'll still get the damage but you'd get the damage if you just blocked it or walked back and whiff punished anyway. The only difference is with this tech he gets to keep the meter for a potential breaker or another armour move on his next wakeup so he isn't really getting punished as hard despite you making the same read.

The b2 cancel gives you alot of options with the spacing. You can bait WUs, you can not chance the air to air and s4 or d2 a wakeup jump or hard read it, you can jik and long delay dive kick off the initial jik was blocked for a htb (oh oh low)

You can also create straight up bomb pressure, which is gimmicky but will make your opponent really have to think about their next move with a second bomb being right under them within 1 sequence. Mind games like f2 ender close bomb b2 x mid bomb

I really hope I'm wrong, and it is swaggy af, but I think this isn't really gonna change much.

I get what you're saying, at this point with csz everything is more so a read since not much is guranteed especially for this high damage. But the spacing from the b2 cancel still leaves u safe. And you can either block/punish WUs or enforce the bomb pressure. But most of the time most ppl that see the bomb come out are either going to respect it and block or jump. The thing is to mix this up with 21 (which is also antijump out, the only thing that beats it is low profiling)

Tbh with you I explored the B2 spacing after a knockdown a while ago and found some very interesting stuff with ExBomb but never bothered properly posting any of it.

If you B2xxExCloseBomb after a high F2 KD in the corner the bomb explodes and creates the puddle right in front of your opponent. It wont hit them unless they move or get hit by certain attacks, sort of like Bo's Crop Duster setup.

The best part of this is that throw, B1 or F3 knock the opponent forward into the ice puddle on hit but not on block, meaning you get a few safe 50/50 attempts as the puddle won't go away if they block correctly so they're still trapped in the corner.

If you manage to get this setup its REALLY strong but I believe it may be unsafe against certain advancing attacks, I just never bothered labbing it as I dropped CSZ shortly after I found it.

You should post it. Im a loyalist lol so regardless of the win odds ill pull him out unless i want to go with my bm dvorah
 
Looked and tested more of the corner B2 x mid bomb setups. I think this is my new go to especially mixed with all of the other regular options from a HKD/SPLAT close bomb setups.

The b2 mid bomb setup seems to just be safer and its not so tough of a read you have to make on the opponent because you can choose to bait or challenge at a spacing that allows u time to react if ur not just rushing in.
