I'm having trouble with a few of these

111 ice ball ~ ji2 ~ b3u4 xx FDK ~ NJP ~ JI4xx CDK ~ 21 ~ b12+4 the b1 always seems to whiff

Ive never used the charafter beforex has his mid screen combos always been so tight windowed ?
It's honestly just that combo in my experiance. I just use 21 - f131 slide or f131 ex drone summon for consistency.
 
Even the b2 (hold) njp ji3 CDK st 4 RC f121 db4 seems tight at times, for only 29% as well...

I suppose I'll keep trying. If someone could do a video demonstration of the b1 2 + 4 ender that would be appreciated.

To hit 131 consistently, wait for them to fall a bit. There's a sweet spot where 131 hits really easily. Also if you want 31-33% I recommend a 111 or f4 iceball DE. It's where his damage comes from.

I've never tried that combo before, but from my experience using faster enders like 111 xx slide, I don't think b1 is fast enough to hit consistently. Maybe on Goro?

As far as preferred Enders, I think 114 is the way to go. If you notice the juggle hits low, you can confirm 111 instead.

I just wanted to add a combo I don't think I saw, b2,4,f131,db4 = 26%. With a drone for b2 it's 28%. It seems easy enough to execute.

I think a lot of people checked out after the nerf. Unfortunate for this and the match-up thread.

Hey guys. So ive started playing CSZ (he is such a fun character!) and I think ive found a combo to increase his corner damage. I dont see it posted in the combo thread and I havent seen any other CSZ (from the vids ive seen) do this. Definitely viable as I did pull this off in a match. Damage ranges from 31%-32% without drone enhance and 35%-37% with it. This is assuming you don't summon a drone mid combo of course and take the full damage. Depends on starters 111, B1, B3, F13, F4.

I don't think so. Even without the freeze, 114 xx bomb > follow-up is tight. 1114 has enough advantage to get the bomb out safely, but it's the opponents turn after that. You have to react to whatever option they may choose, which is a whole CSZ meta in itself.

Damn, see this is why I refuse to freeze my opponent when I punish them. :/ There has to be something were missing..

I personally prefer to get the full damage ending in slide and oki from that. I do a lot of B2 cancelled into close bomb and ex close bomb to act as an ice clone. I will mix in jump over divekicks to reverse wakeups (as seen in my spoiler vid) or screw up inputs so wakeups dont come out. Once conditioning them to be scared, go for the HTBs and enjoy yourself for 41% meterless.

Hey everybody I'm back! Sorry for taking a hike but the patch drama was unreal back in March so I bailed. Sorry to see they whacked Cyber Sub like that, what a shame. Nice to see the Injustice 2 hype breathe some life back into the forums. Here's to seeing some more frosty characters come it's release.

I just got back into playing again, and had used csz a bit pre patch, but what in gods name do I do with him now? So far, I'm trying to summon drones more, still ending combos with f2, and forgetting that f13 ice ball doesn't combo :( nonetheless I love the character, but with the nerfs, I'm struggling to figure out how to play him. Help please!

Also coming from using smoke, I'm used to using s1 a lot as an anti air. What would be the optimal conversion from an aa s1? I've been doing s1, f13 ice, njp, jk, dive kick, f2. And the timing on getting the ice ball to connect seems pretty tight, so anything that would make that easier would be helpful as well

It's a shame that they aren't going to buff him. You use to see every variation of Triborg before the patch frequently but now that's not the case. I'd rather have op characters that are fun to use than nerfed ones that are worthless.
