Question - Cassie Cage Should EX glow kick launch?

Since cassie looses armor on her EX flip kick in the beta why not make her other armor option launch? I feel that her loosing her EX flip kick isn't that that big of a nerf but at the same time it wasn't needed either.Out of the characters that have safe armored launchers how come she had to be the one that looses hers? She wasn't really broken and flip kick is still very useful don't get me wrong , but lets make her bf4 launch that way she has an unsafe armored launcher. I just think its a kinda good idea. I wouldn't really call it a buff cause its worse than the original ex flip kick but it still kinda gives her a nerf.

I don't think she really needs it, but I also am not opposed to it since I don't think this would do much to her, it would still get overshadowed by her other amazing tools. Since ex flip kick armor or not it's still an amazing wake up option due to how fast it is and how far away it puts her.

Maybe 2 in 1 cancellable would be nice but not launch. that way you could cancel into nutpunch or flip kick for a launcher

If she does get this then flip kick becomes useless because why should you use a bar for a move that's not as good as the other. It would make her brainless again. By making the player choose between an armor move and launcher it creates choice and options not a "hey this move is dumb and it does everything, I'll save the bar for it" mindset

The Ex Flip nerf was needed, I'm glad I just have a way to make my mixups safe.

It would be nice if you could combo off of Ex BF4 but it's not happening despite how much I want it to lol. I would at least like more hit advantage since we spend a bar to armour through a gap and don't get a combo. On hit we are left at +4 if the opponent does not tech roll. On block, we are left at -51. Seriously, some characters can punish that with a jump in punch. It would be nice if it was less negative but still full combo punishable by the entire cast (say -14), but gave a better reward on hit like a hard knockdown.

I always thought it would be cool if EX Glow recaptured if you hit with the first hit, it would make the move have way more uses than it currently has. The ONLY reason I ever use it now, is against Kenshi if I make a read on what he wants to do at about mid screen and full combo into nutpunch to get my pressure started

The purpose of EX flipkick is that it's safe, so when you want to make your 50/50s safe, you can use a bar to do so.

Maybe we can get a damage buff instead? I mean she had all these good tools so I understood the damage nerf. But if they nerf how she gets that damage then maybe up her damage a bit? She gets like what 21% off of B1? In brawler I can get 24%. Like I already said, if they make sure other characters get the same treatment - Which it seems NRS is doing - then I guess It'll be whatever. We can still make 50/50s safe right? It's just that now unless you're brawler, you're armor moves just gives you a reset back to neutral instead of a combo or plus frames.

The nerf wasn't needed? She had safe armor breaking 50/50's. Fuck that.
If I understand the beta correctly, EX flip is still safe. So she still could break armor cancelling into flip or she can do F44 now which is safe. Just an FYI that if you choose to armor there is still the possibility of a safe armor breaker.

I have come to terms that ex flipkick coudnt stay the way it was. I can anti air just fine with regular flip . I just cant really anti air crossups and really good j3's. I do love safe 50/50's for a bar tho.she lost some anti air potential but I'll manage

She gets 28% off of B1 in Brawler. The Spec Ops/Brawler BnB is:
B12 (or 50/50)~Flip, run~212, B12~Ender (Takedown/Glow Kick/Missile).
The online bnb is B12~Flip, run~F24~Takedown (25% in Brawler)

Only Hollywood should be missing the 'run~212' after flip so it can guarentee meterless + frames but that won't be a thing after the patch probably now that she gets no guarenteed followup. Her midscreen damage is lower than average, but that's not the end of the world. I'd prefer if they made 242 launch a little higher or longer in the air, or closer so that Cassie can connect a NJP. Even if she wasn't allowed to connect a NJP I'd like it if I could connect airgrab and/or jump kick after 242 on females.

of all the characters than had safe armored launchers only hers was 6 frames which means she could punish stuff that are supposed to be safe

You would use the meterless flip since it was a 6 frame reversal to punish stuff on block. You'd use the metered flip to wakeup, make mixups safe, armour break safely off of situations in which her other armour breaking options would be too slow.
