What are you guys doing combo-wise for maximum corner carry?
I literally picked sorcerer up 2 days ago so most of the combos im messing with are bastardized versions warlock combos. B234, NJP, RC, B12xxtrance, jp2, 141 seems to give me the best push midscreen, but there's gotta be something better.
 
is there a way to land the 1,4,1 more consistant after b+3,2,4, 4 xx trance, jip, f+2,1,22, or after the overhead starter ? i have somehow problems to land the first 1 after the run cancel and sometimes the last hit won't connect

I'm having the same issue.

So I'm sure everyone knows that Hex Spell buffs chip damage on runes and skulls.

MB Rune does something like 10.50%

Skull does about 6%

So with three back to back mb runes and the guaranteed regular rune follow up is something like 37% from full screen. If you mix in skulls the chip damage is even higher.

I know this isn't necessarily news, but i think it makes Quan's zoning in Sorcerer seriously amazing.

I know the armor spell is fantastic, but this chip spell is no joke.

What do you guys think?

I've only seen it done off a hard knockdown, when I've used it I just feel super anxious like watching an old person start to cross a road while a truck driver is on his phone doing 60 down the road.

I've mistimed the thing and gotten punished yet Ketchup lands it and demolishes nerds online with it. I'd love to learn how to get it down better but online is a lot different for me. It seems like a super fun tool that does the opposite of the armour, makes your opponent want to push buttons and makes them seriously sweat.

So when you guys have armor spell up, how do you like to use it?

Do you bait people into attacking unsafely?

I had a question: say you're in armor circle and an opponent attacks with a string, can you hit them? What i mean is, say the opponent attacks with a three-hit string. If you absorb the first hit, can you do a d3 or a b2 or a standing 1 and will it connect or are you in hit stun?

Good sir, as long as you hit them while you're in the aura you're in combo/reset city. And as for you first question, it really just depends on the matchup / situation .

So you can hit them out of their strings? I didn't know that at all.

So what kind of multi hitting moves break it?

Also, i had an idea. I need to test it, but you know how characters have strings /set ups you can armor through?

An example would be SD Johnny Cage's 113 into mb up knee. You can armor before the MB Clone comes out. If you're in spell circle, could you still expose this gap with a string?

You COULD. It would be much easier to start a B3 starter as he's starting the 113 and you'd stuff the second 1 before it even came out. If people know how the circle works they'll normally be hesitant to press buttons because anything you press will just flat beat it.

Yes this does work. And a example of a move that will hit through it is LK's B12.

Wow. Sorcerer is super good, then. Between Rune Traps and armor and his 50/50, its like MK9 Quan took steroids.

I've been using Sorcerer for a month now but I still have no idea what the purple spell(don't know name) does. Can someone explain?

There's also a setup I do where if you do a close knockdown then get them into another trance do a jump over punch then do f212 not only does it get your armor instantly back but now they have to deal with a armored 50/50

The idea is that when you leave the circle and walk back in, it ignores the 5 sec cooldown. So if you stuff a string using your armor and trance them. Jump over them out of the circle, then use the F2 string which advances you back IN the circle. You can reset the armor immediately.

I think you can just F212 into D3 and they are staggered in front of you reset and you have armor.
