Thought it would be good to compile a list of frame-data for the useful Fireball Cancels on block (no point in posting ones that are like -15).

Note that these are rough estimates based on tests so if anyone has any corrections, feel free to post them & I'll update the OP.

214 Run Cancel - +22
21 Run Cancel - +6
B1 Run Cancel - +4/+27 on hit
B12 Run Cancel - +4
114 Run Cancel - +2
123 Run Cancel - +8
B3 Run Cancel - +2
F3 Run Cancel - +8
3 Run Cancel - +8

"The numbers in the final patch (from normals/strings you would want to FBRC from) are as follows:
21: +4
214: +22
123: +7
B1: +4
B12: +4
B3: +2
4: +16
3: +6
F3: +7
F4: -5"

@HeroesNZ This is actually really useful, been waiting to see some threads with fireball cancel advantage with all characters that can do it tbh. Much appreciated my good sir!
 
Also need his dash cancel data for the sake of mixing it up between dash and run cancels since you can only do one run cancel with full stamina.

Edit: meaning a full run cancel with a poke/special to actually cancel the run.

This post is off-topic and is just salt-induced.

@HeroesNZ how was this tested? and are these frames for hit or block?
Says block in the OP.

Do the Fireball Cancel against Lao/Cassie/anyone with a fast reversal on block and try and poke after.

For example, B3 Run Cancel 2 roughly traded with/beat out Lao's 7f spin. Standing 2 is 10f so 10 - 7 = roughly +3 on block.

can we also get some frame data for what they are on hit? Just in case we read someone trying to take the hit or whatever for a knockdown away and want to keep them in check with another FBC string.

Good shit dude. I was wondering how plus I was after certain strings. Never thought to actually test it. I just d3/grabbed after pressure to bait reversals because it worked.

Does anyone know if the Ps4 uploads to YouTube in 60 fps? If it does, whenever I get enough free time, I might record myself doing FBCs and take the footage into Sony Vegas to try and get as close to accurate frame data as I can.

Still waiting for the day I get tagged in a hellfire thread tho lol.

You can do 2 run cancels in a blockstring, but only 1 in a combo.

ive been doing 21 run cancel this whole time and its near impossible for me online...and i should have been doing 214...thank you my friend

Hey guys, if you FBRC from d4 on hit, both f4 and b3 will frametrap, giving you a true 50/50. I thought this was pretty cool because d4 is an 8 frame low which which is very safe as well. I was able to have it blocked, do the cancel and block Reptile's 6f EX slide.

His overhead that leads to a combo is reactable scorpion doesn't have true 50/50 IMO the only conditioning you get is F2 which only grants a knockdown and those are close to unreactable, which helps to condinion for the low.

In any matter the princpile of fighting scorpion still stands, if he delays a frame trap you can just backdash.
