Are ya' ready for MK11 kids?!
Is a very difficult fight. My tactic is to play very fast and very front this fight. take good care of your meter and maintain the distance very well.

I leave a fight for example : (Vs Cyrax one of the best of Argentina).
What happened after the X-ray at 0:51? Is it possible to get a combo by using Teleport 2 or was you attempting a gimmick to avoid the Breaker?
 
I have played a lot of kung lao over the span of mk9. However he has never been my strongest character and there is one thing in particular I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME DO THE DOUBLE DIVEKICK COMBO!

Allow me to clarify. I can't do spin jk-divekick dive kick 24grab etc. to save my life. I will get all of up to the 24. I cannot understand what I am doing wrong.

I've tried a full dash after spin, half dash, no dash, delaying my jump, delaying the divekick input after the jk...nothing. I get it randomly after a dozen or so tries but I can't nail down what the hell it is I'm doing different.

I'd very much appreciate any input. I understand that this is probably discussed somewhere buried in 3 years worth of discussion but ya know, I'm not going to go looking through all that.

So doing the 24 after the 2nd divekick is the problem for you? Or the grab?

I'm not close enough after the second dive kick for 24 to connect.
The 2nd divekick isn't as fast as you think. Spin, jump kick dive kick, then you jump up and make sure that you've seen KL jump then you input D4 (divekick)

There is no dash after the spin. There is a slight dash after the 2nd dive kick, you cancel that slight dash into 24 plum flower. You should be close enough, once you get the hang of the combo it's much easier

Ok, thanks. I was thinking you had to dash after the spin or something to get farther under the opponent. I can't tell you how much frustration I've had over that stupid combo. I feel like an idiot doing like spin jk divekick roll spin like it's 2011..haha

I'm not close enough after the second dive kick for 24 to connect.
Tested it just now, what I tend to do after the 2nd divekick is a slight dash, lift my thumb off the D-pad immediately and dial in the 2,4,grab. The mental block/fear you're probably having is worrying about getting an accidental F2. Trust me, it took me a loooong time to overcome it myself lol. You can't be afraid to do it all consistently as quickly as possible.

A couple of other tips that may help

- Use 2,1,Spin as the starter so that you can get a consistent feel for when the initial jump kick~dive kick comes into play, then move on to naked spin.
- During 2,4,grab,2, you can just press the actual throw button instead of 1+3 if it's easier for your cognition.
- Use Mileena as your training dummy. She has the smallest airborne hurtbox in the game, so once you get it down consistently on her, you can get it down consistently on anyone.

thanks man, I appreciate your input as well. You are right on with the hesitancy in regards to getting a f2 instead of standing 2.
