But i'm guessing if the read is wrong then the setup can't be completed? In which case, you gotta make the read and jump back to catch him.

I added to my last post. It's essentially a 50/50 guess. But i'm guessing if the read is wrong then the setup can't be completed?
Can you not try both?I added to my last post. It's essentially a 50/50 guess.
I always either jump back 2, then use D2 to keep him in the corner if I guessed wrong, or more likely I'll go for the OTG setups against Shazam so that he can't teleport. But i'm guessing if the read is wrong then the setup can't be completed?
Indeed. Shazam is a character that I might want to throw down those fast restands in against. And, yeah, just simply crowbar enders as well.I always either jump back 2, then use D2 to keep him in the corner if I guessed wrong, or more likely I'll go for the OTG setups against Shazam so that he can't teleport.
joker has otg's? what are they?I always either jump back 2, then use D2 to keep him in the corner if I guessed wrong, or more likely I'll go for the OTG setups against Shazam so that he can't teleport.
Crowbar (bf3) leaves them in an OTG-able state, with the MB option being improved in patch 1.06.joker has otg's? what are they?
I think that's exactly what NRS tried to avoid while designing him, which lead to his falling short at fighting midscreen. The Joker = Cyrax of Injustice
*Well at least in the corner he is*
You know the more tech you and Qwark28 put out gives me the impression NRS wanted a character that would have traits similar to Cyrax and Sub-Zero.I think that's exactly what NRS tried to avoid while designing him, which lead to his falling short at fighting midscreen.
Red Hood joker would be the main reason why I would konsider picking him up but I don't have it.Pick him up and you'll see just how technical he is.
How negative is Joker's d2 on block? What's the point of Shazam just not teleporting, blocking high and then d1ing your d2?I always either jump back 2, then use D2 to keep him in the corner if I guessed wrong, or more likely I'll go for the OTG setups against Shazam so that he can't teleport.
Well, he's saying he would jump back first, so he'd be out of d1 range. How negative is Joker's d2 on block? What's the point of Shazam just not teleporting, blocking high and then d1ing your d2?
Yeah, I know about the jump back. I'm just saying when he lands and d2s, but I didn't know about the flower cancel. Can all of jokers normals bbe cancelled into flower?Well, he's saying he would jump back first, so he'd be out of d1 range.
Joker's d2 is pretty negative (-14 on block I believe), but you can make it safe by cancelling into flower, which is +5 on block and +3 on hit, giving you a free b1 or another flower until you get spaced out by the pushback on block.
Well, a few things. He'll still be sitting on teeth, so his options are limited. If he blocks low, he has to watch for d2 xx crowbar. The spacing won't let shazam punish the d2, and like I said, can be made safe anyway. On hit from the d2, Joker can still do a small conversion into crowbar and keep you in the corner. On block, he has to still respect the teeth, but can jump out (I think) if the Joker player doesn't cancel into something before the teeth go off.Yeah, I know about the jump back. I believe he could.Could cyrax combo bombs? Like far then mid the close?
So if Shazam just blocks high then he's good?Well, a few things. He'll still be sitting on teeth, so his options are limited. If he blocks low, he has to watch for d2 xx crowbar.
