Wow, what happened? Woke up with a terrible nightmare about Kabal or something?
That Matchup on a high level of play its completely annoying he has superiority on everything, except armor and maybe blockstrings.
Its not like i went emo all the sudden.
But Kabal is extremely broken.

Skarlet best way of fighting in this game is if she can spend and build meter at the same times all MUs becomes very handable, this fucker can make you burn tons of meter without he burn anything, and becomes hard to build meter too. And if Skarlet can't regularly build meter in this MU, Kabal will do everything he wants, by the time skarlet has meter, lots of damage has been taken, or lots of meter the opponent will built.
There is a range where regular daggers becomes useless you can't even throw one without being punished.
You can never jump in this MU, but he can do it all the time.

To fight Kabal with less difficulty you will need 12 things:
A nearly perfect execution (droping its not an optionn)
iaDs (its a must)
Hell of a mind to react to setups fast and avoid projectiles fast (twice the reaction speed you may already have.)
Be really good with anti-air
Be really good escaping his frametraps and managing to counter from time to time.
do not succumb to bad habits
Spacing like a god
Be in opponents mind and read the next movement all the time.
Put him in the corner
Turtling Kabal its not an option.
Counter-reads (its a must)
Crimson Parry (its a must)

Maybe i'm overreacting but this MU is something else in this game, its just broken, and the part that hurts me most, when they go for a crossup its annoying. And Skarlet keeps burning way too much meter to counter Kabal and its not always worth it.

I still think kabal skarlet may be 4-6 and here is why:

Cage is considered 3-7 and his tools only make him effective up close. Skarlet has similar tools up close but has more options from afar.

If she plays the MU like cage does ill she gets in or corners him, she can get the life lead and pressure. If she has the life lead, and meter she has all she needs to win this MU.

This MU doesn't really come down to his much meter kabal has (assume he has meter at all times) it comes down to skarlet meter and getting the life lead. It requires patients.

I also like to wiff punish his strings with daggers and edc into 114 or f212.

It's really a heavy footsie game. If you can't wiff punish with full combos, punish with long blockstrings into EDC f43 for space.

I'm leaning towards 7-3 for KL/Skarlet. He is way too mobile, has a low hitbox and skarlet hitbox is pretty big. Skarlet cant zone at all. I think its bad for sure

I personally still have problems with Kitana. What do you guys do in the MU...

How do other kit players feel?
Mr. Mileena (could you also tag other kit players)
Make sure to shutdown her jump-ins with anti-airs and be careful zoning because if you miss 1 air dagger you can eat a 20% combo. Other then that you just have to out footsie her and make her scared of EX dash.

I've played all the top LK's and I wouldn't recommend trying to whiff punish his strings, they are way too fast. And besides Skarlet has it way easier than LK does in this match.

I mean whiff punishing with daggers and EDC...I cant punish with her normals I know but a blockstring into pressure is fine. His armor and pokes are weak enough to where this is my place of choice rather than trading projectiles from full screen.

Even trying to whiff punish with those is hard cuz if he's full screen most of the time he'll be throwing fireballs and if he wants to get in he can just f12 which is really good. Most LK's won't just throw out a b312 or many other strings from jump distance.
